@TracketPacer It can be wonderful or maddening. More often than not, it’s maddening. Some vendors have halfhearted implementations coupled with poor documentation. Best of luck.

it’s taken me my entire career up until today to not touch SNMP with my dirty little mitts. i hadn’t so much as blinked at an SNMP trap. but then… i purchased a switched PDU

@LoveRetroBTW Commodore 64 was the start for me in 1984. The first game I played on it was Epyx’s Summer Games using this model joystick. The boot around the stick squeaked when you worked it like in the diving portion.

I always like to ask this question: as a gamer, where did it all start for you? Was it in the arcades? Maybe you got an Atari 2600 or an NES that kicked things off. Or perhaps it was the SNES.

One of my all time faves in the arcade and on my C64… the music was 🔥 along with the use of a second joystick for alternate weapons.

Spy Hunter is an arcade banger. Hunt down enemy agents using machine guns and oil slicks. Driving into the back of a truck at high speed felt insanely real.

@TracketPacer I guess I can understand it since I’ve been in plenty of datacenters with super high ceilings, but without a server rack lift, there’s no way I’d trust myself to mount some huge gear from a ladder that high up.
