@SamSpade2501 Nah, mate that’s a custom controller. No Mountain Dew og Xbox controllers were ever made. A guy on Etsy made those.

@ColonelFalcon they really should have the controller match the console out of the box but I suppose they want the additional after sale

Controllers were black, though it would have been awesome if they matched the console.

Happy 35th Anniversary to the Blue Blur! 🥳💙 Sonic the Hedgehog released in the U.S. for the Sega Genesis on June 23, 1991, and in Japan on July 26, 1991. Developers Yuji Naka, Naoto Ohshima, and Hirokazu Yasuhara helped create Sega’s mascot to compete with Nintendo’s Mario. The platformer was a huge success, and a generation of ’90s kids became enthralled with the sassy hedgehog’s quest to stop Dr. Robotnik (Eggman) from world domination. I grew up with Nintendo rather than Sega, but a good friend in my neighborhood had a Genesis, and we’d often play the original Sonic the Hedgehog at his house. His scores were always better than mine, but we had a blast seeing how fast we could go and how many rings we could collect. We also watched the whimsical Adventure of Sonic the Hedgehog as well as the Saturday morning Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon. It’s still wild to think that Steve Urkel (Jaleel White) voiced Sonic! Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the most influential video game series of all time, and I’m happy to celebrate the amazing memories it created today! Also thrilled to have a Sega now despite not growing up with my own!
