According to multiple reports and videos circulating online, today is said to be the day of this festival in the Ozoro community, and girls are wvrned not to go outside. It is alleged that any girl seen outside could be att@ck£d and r@p£d by groups of men. Foreigners who are unaware of this situation have reportedly fallen v!ctim as well. There is Delta state university in Ozoro, and many female students may not be fully aware of the d@nger. It is distvrbing that something like this could be tolerated in society. This is heartbreaking, and urgent action needs to be taken.

Gift Oladele, a 24-year-old Nigerian migrant, has been found guilty at Mold Crown Court of rape and sexual assault following a brutal and violent attack on a 19-year-old woman. The court heard how he covered his victim’s mouth, forced her into nearby woods, assaulted her repeatedly, and raped her as she walked home from a night out. The presiding judge Simon Hills described the case as extremely serious and confirmed that a lengthy prison sentence will follow. The rapist was remanded in custody pending sentencing and a full assessment of the danger he poses.
