Life was better when there was a ‘computer room.’ Where you had to physically enter the room to get on the internet and then log off and leave that room and the internet stayed behind. The minute we were able to take it with us in our pockets that’s when society collapsed fully

@newstart_2024 A couple months ago I went back to an old school alarm clock and started putting my phone in another room at night. If I wake up in the middle of the night (which has happened much less since making this change) I read a book until I fall back asleep.

Carlos Whittaker did a 7.5-week no-screen experiment and the results are wild. No phone. No TV. No laptop. No watch. Nothing. He even got his brain scanned before and after by a neuroscientist. The outcome? His cerebellum healed years worth of damage in just seven weeks. His cognitive memory score jumped from the 50th percentile to the 99th percentile of adult men in America. He said he felt like a completely different human, sharper, clearer, more alive. This one stopped me in my tracks. I’ve been feeling the scroll fatigue hard lately, and hearing someone actually measure the difference with real brain scans is next-level motivating. Our constant screen exposure might be doing more quiet damage to our brains than we realize. Sometimes the simplest reset (doing less) creates the biggest upgrade. Have you ever done a serious digital detox? Would you try one this extreme?

@HealthRanger So the dude literally pulls blood/plasma out of others and injects it, aka feeds off it. Now, he literally won't expose his skin to sunlight.....does anyone know if he refuses to eat garlic? Can someone please splash holy water on him so we can all see what happens?

@luusssso In a few thousand years archeologists will unearth them and marvel at how they were built. Their discovery will spark a heated debate as to whether or not a technologically advanced society previously existed. The textbooks will say they were built with ropes and pulleys.

The Pyramids, just northwest of Indianapolis, are a trio of mirrored glass office buildings designed by Kevin Roche and completed in 1972. Their bold, geometric forms emerge dramatically from the flat Midwestern terrain. Roche was known for blending sculptural expression with corporate pragmatism and envisioned the structures as both futuristic and timeless. The mirrored facades reflect the sky and landscape, making the buildings appear to shift with the weather and light. Originally built for the College Life Insurance Company, the Pyramids remain a surreal and ambitious example of late-modern corporate architecture.

The health consciousness stuff has gone massively overboard. People walking around with bands tracking their vital signs every second of the day like they’re astronauts on the ISS. Treating alcohol or sugar like it’ll kill them if they look at it. Tracking their sleep. Counting their steps. It’s possible to live a healthy life without being an obsessive, paranoid lunatic. You’re gonna die either way. In a few decades you’ll be just as dead as the rest of us, if not sooner. Relax a little and live your life while you still can.

Jennifer Combs, a resident of Trinidad, Texas, was actively arrested and jailed simply for making a Facebook post exposing the city's brown, contaminated tap water. The city officials panicked over the bad publicity, hid behind a garbage law, and used the local police department to lock her up under the guise of "preventing public alarm." Let’s be entirely real: this isn’t law enforcement; it’s tyrannical retaliation. Since when does a local bureaucrat get the right to suspend the First Amendment because their infrastructure is failing? If the citizens can’t openly criticize the basic hiding-in-plain-sight truth of what’s coming out of their own common faucets without getting a mugshot, the system is completely broken. She is officially suing the city for violating her civil rights. Is this Texas or North Korea? 🎥: Fox 4 News

@HealthRanger Grok, what's the first thing a corrupt or incompetent gov't does when its corruption or incompetence is being discussed by its citizenry? Asking for a friend...

I will offer free laboratory testing of water for any person who is arrested and charged by their local law enforcement officials for daring to post about how filthy their city water is. My team is reaching out to one such person in Texas right now, and offering free lab testing to help support her case, after she was arrested and charged with a felony for posting the truth about dirty water. My lab has multiple mass-spec instruments and we are ISO-17025 accredited, recognized globally for analytical excellence. From the web: "ISO/IEC 17025 focuses on technical competence, ensuring that laboratories produce valid, reliable, and scientifically sound test and calibration results. Compliance with this standard is widely recognized by regulatory authorities and suppliers as proof that a laboratory has the qualified personnel, validated methods, and calibrated equipment necessary for accurate measurements."
