I've recompiled my big correlations-list using the team data for the entire 2023 season. This tells you what stats are useful measurements and predictors of offensive production (wOBA, OPS) and which are not (strikeout percentage, contact percentage).

At the same time, I believe God's infinite, perfect, wrath will be poured out against unbelievers to the exact extent that their sins deserve. A God who is holy, fair, and righteous absolutely has the right to punish sins.

If Pete Rose believed in the Lord Jesus and was saved, then that's fantastic! The same grace and mercy that saved *me* can save anyone else. If God can redeem me, he can redeem anyone else too.

@EggTargaryan I mean, I definitely agree -- salvation is between a person and God -- but the condition God has laid forth for salvation is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. I would like to see everyone believe in Him, but at the same time I recognize that not everybody *has*.

The enduring legacy of Rob Manfred will be that he sold out the greatest sport ever created for every last dollar he could squeeze out of every entity no matter how shady to make his already-rich owners even more rich. That’s what he’ll leave behind.
