@KuKhahil Neither are playmakers but Powell is a better player. What MPJ did on a terrible Nets team last year isn't what you will get from him. It will be the Denver version which while not bad was very frustrating for the Nuggets because he wasn't consistent enough when they needed him

MPJ last year had more Assist points per-100, potential assists per-100, assists per-100, at rim assists per-100, and three pt assists per-100 than Norman Powell. Never Swing The Rock Mike flashed more passing than him, nah man I am so good on that lol

Michael Porter Jr finished the year as the 13th best offensive player in the NBA last season, Just above Devin Booker & Donovan Mitchell. Both Booker and Mitchell are about to be on $60M + per year extensions. If the Nets are able to keep MPJ around for ~ $40M, it'd be a steal

I value being consistent in all arguments. Thus, for the Nets to entertain keeping/resigning MPJ who literally said he stopped trying, while preaching culture, and after the organization responded to Kyrie’s actions, just seems tremendously hypocritical and unfair.
