@cody_swingle @Miggysbat @YouTubeTV The problem is that Fubo is terrible. I tried it for a couple days when YTTV lost ESPN. The platform sucks, streaming quality sucks, and it crashed multiple times a day. For all its issues and constant price hikes, YTTV is still a far superior platform to Fubo.

I’m surprised about Smith. As a 25 year old that just made his debut last year, I thought he showed a lot of potential as a late inning guy.

@emcwilly @evanwoodbery @rogcastbaseball Yeah he was hurt last year but this injury seems like a fluke thing. I’m not crazy about him but AJ seems to love him. I don’t know; I don’t have any particular faith in him as a high leverage guy, but I feel like he’ll be around this year.

@confusion_reign @evanwoodbery @rogcastbaseball He had 1 good season 2 years ago and hasn’t stayed healthy since. Was terrible in the minors last year when he was healthy. Even if healthy this year he’ll be competing with Hanifee for next up as a RHP. If we do see him it will be because of multiple injuries in the bullpen.

@DetroitOnLion Based on his comments when he left, I’d wager a good amount of money he’d retire before coming back to the lions with his tail between his legs. My guess is he goes into training camp or even into the season waiting for an opportunity because of an injury somewhere.

So, if the Lions re-sign Decker, that $9.4 M in dead cap stays there and all hits in 2026. But they saved that $1.5 M in roster bonus, and would obviously save however much they reduce his salary by.
I still think it’s unlikely but never saying never.

The $9.4 M in dead cap was something the Lions were going to have to deal with no matter if they cut him or not. If they kept him, it would’ve been spread out over the next two years instead of all this year.
But he also had a $1.5 M roster bonus due on March 15 they avoided.
