When I stood on the steps of Downing Street nearly a year ago, I promised this would be a government of service. Our public sector workers embody that spirit of service. Together, we will rebuild Britain.

New childcare places, based in local schools, closer to where you live. Our rollout of school-based nurseries is on track to deliver over 4,000 places in September, giving parents more choice and ensuring every child gets the best start in life. Promise made. Promise kept.
