@Reil76 Well said! The right is accusing Carney, but don’t want to look at Pierre’s leadership and what’s causing this. It’s easier to scream foul than to call out their own leadership.

How is the Conservative Party of Canada still sticking with Pierre Poilievre as leader? At some point it stops being strategy and starts being stubbornness. They just lost another seat, and now the Liberal Party of Canada is one seat away from a majority. If your message isn’t landing, if you keep boxing yourself into the same corners, if you’re turning off the voters you need to win, the answer isn’t to double down harder. It’s to adjust. Instead they’re riding it out like nothing’s wrong, hoping things magically turn around. And it’s exactly how you lose elections you should be competing for.

Mark Carney is seizing a costly Liberal majority that voters denied him, and doing so through backroom deals. In January, MP Gladu said that floor crossers should face voters in a byelection to give voters the final say. I could not agree more. She should do so. The people in her community voted for our Conservative vision of a Canada that is affordable, safe, and strong at home, not for the costly Liberal government she has now joined. She should honour her word and let voters decide.
