If a machine was called upon to save your life would you prefer it to be biased in your favor or with as little bias as possible? Negative #bias in AI only exists because we insist on using a thing even when we know it's not the right thing in advance.

@PoliticalKiwi General intelligence and human intelligence are very different too. The former cannot replace the latter or vice versa. What they have in common is neither are “technologies” at all. Throwing around such terms doesn’t even rise to the level of making an argument. Vapid nonsense.

One day it will be widely accepted that blindly comparing AI to a previous technology (e.g. the light bulb) is the lowest form of argument, barely worth engaging with. At this moment, it behooves me to state the obvious: general intelligence and light bulbs are very different.
