Day 2 of @UKYP Youth Parliament Conference. The MYP’s have whittled down nearly 300 debate motions to the REALLY important points that matter to young people. A truly passionate and democratic process. MYP’s make the professional MP’s look like trainees 🤣🤩
Place morw power in the hands of young people and they will inspire wise policy.

@KirstieMAllsopp What a brilliant thing to do. As a child my Dad said “when you are 21, I’ll buy you a one way ticket half way round the world, what you do when you get there is up to you”. My 3 brothers and I travelled the world I am so grateful to have been given that gift.

Just got a kindly meant message from a friend saying “don’t let the haters get you down”, but I suspect he’s been reading newspapers, who almost always depict any debate on Twitter as much more toxic than it is. In fact this has been one of the most interesting issues I’ve 1/3

I was doing the route in reverse 🙂
