Despite any disagreements with President Hassan Sheikh’s policies or governance, we must remember that, in this moment, he is our leader, our president, and our commander-in-chief. His role demands our support and unity as we face these challenging times. The president should address the nation directly with a serious and strategic message, not just his regular Friday Khutbah. Additionally, those spreading al-Shabaab propaganda, such as those canceling flights to Mogadishu, must face appropriate consequences for undermining our nation's stability.
