Jabi lake park Abuja was designed and constructed by the Obasanjo administration over 2 decades ago.The picturesque space is a hub for picnic,camping and recreational activities for Abuja residents.Its sad to see the land being caved out and sold.I don’t even know what they are constructing there.Those who bought the land in violation of the master plan should know that the approval of today will not stand the scrutiny of the future.

@HRH_bankeoniru There are full-service pump islands where staff will pump the gas for you,but prices are slightly higher. The good thing is that they tell you ahead and will point you towards self-service which has no fees unless you insist on full service.

In the United States, you pump your own gas. In Nigeria, it's the complete opposite - fuel attendants fill your tank for you, you simply sit comfortably in your car, open your fuel cap, and they handle everything, no stress, no hassle. This was one of the biggest culture shocks I faced when I first arrived in the US. The first few times at a gas station, I would sit in my car waiting... not knowing what to do. I felt completely lost and a little useless until I finally learned how to do it myself.

“Two weeks ago my husband started complaining that our baby's nose smelled bad. I thought it was just cough and catarrh, so we bought some drugs, but the smell didn't stop. Last Friday it got worse—the nose smelled often. My husband checked and saw a bit of catarrh inside, but when I looked, it didn't look like catarrh—it looked like something else. We took the baby to the hospital. The doctor said there was something inside his nose. They gave him an injection to sleep, and when he fell asleep, the doctor used a tool to pull out a very big piece of nylon from his nose (you can see the photo—so big!). I still don't know how he put it in there without anyone seeing. The doctor said if they hadn't removed it right then, they'd have had to cut his nose to get it out. I've been in shock since last Friday and haven't posted about it. I'm just so grateful—help me thank God, because I don't know what I'd do if anything had happened. Grateful to God”🙏🏽🙏🏽

You can’t fuel it anymore. It’s parked. Bus and taxi fares? Extortionate. You’re crushed under the burden. House rents are through the roof. You’re depending on people’s goodwill just to survive. You even spend ₦500 in your neighbourhood just to charge your phone, then go back home to buy expensive data, only to come online and type: “On your mandate…” “Relax, Tinubu is fixing Nigeria…” “APC till 2031…” Let me ask you — are you okay? Instead of holding those responsible accountable for the hardship you’re facing, you’re busy fighting people from other tribes. Fighting people from other religions. Defending a political party that does not care whether you live or die. Maybe you need to pause and reflect. Maybe , just maybe , you should ask yourself at what point in your life you unknowingly signed a lifelong agreement with suffering. @tomisin_ms This is very similar to REIT( Real Estate Investment Trust) where individuals buy units or own shares and the Trust owns income- producing assets /properties. You don't have to limit it to only residential properties though.

Picture this… Ajo but with houses 😭 You and your friends pool money together and buy a rundown property in cash. You renovate it, convert it into an HMO, and put it on rent so it starts generating income. Then you refinance (mortgage it), pull out the equity, and use that money as a deposit to acquire another property…this time in one person’s name. Same process: renovate, rent it out, then refinance again. You rotate it round the group, one person at a time, using each completed project to fund the next. It might take a few years, but at the end, everyone has a house in their own name, and you all still retain a shared stake in the first property. Will you get involved in such a deal? Is it worth it?
