Someone burned 32 of my pieces, including several unique 1/1s.
In just a few minutes I lost a friend, so much work, and a lot of trust, in people, in this space, and even a bit in myself. It hit me hard.
I’ve spent the last 24 hours talking with people who know the person involved, and I’ve clearly understood that this wasn’t my fault.
But even knowing that, I’m still deeply shaken. I don’t want this kind of human relationship anymore, this kind of senseless hurt.
Thank you to everyone sending light and kindness right now. It means more than you know. ❤️🩹

Question for artists. If a collector burns several of your works, including some 1/1s… would you remint them just to keep them in your own wallet, not to list them for sale? Is that generally considered acceptable in the space, or is the burn usually respected as final?
