People like Sheikh Pantami of the early 2000s is the main reason why I want preaching regulated, clearly then he was not fit to be preaching about certain things then. His actions now clearly shows that he lacked maturity and understanding of a lot of things then, and clearly he knows better now. We still have people like that today, who are confusing the populace, preaching things they don’t even understand.

I hate being called a “moderate Muslim.” I’m simply a Muslim. All we really have are Muslims and criminals/extremists hiding behind religion. Supporting child marriage? Criminal. Abusing women and children? Criminal. Killing for blasphemy? Criminal. Forcing women to cover through fear and violence? Criminal. Beating wives in the name of religion? Criminal. Murdering innocent people in the name of jihad? Criminal. Forcing religion on others? Criminal. Protecting abusers because they “look religious”? Criminal. They may scream “Islam” all day, but they’re still criminals among us. Real Muslims don’t need a softer label just to look decent.

The points Sheikh Gumi keeps making, are narrowed down to reminding us our security forces cant defeat them in reality, and he has his reasons, we’ve been fighting them for almost a decade now or more, with alot of money wasted, yet, they keep coming out stronger, cites example with other terrorists across the globe where even global superpowers did not defeat entirely, and in the end, had to negotiate with them. My problem with his reasoning is that, it speaks weakly of our own security forces, the military, police, NIA, DSS, etc. It also further emboldens these terrorists that are not educated enough to see reasons to surrender. And my main point is that, you cant convince an illiterate that doesn’t know the pain of sitting in a classroom through schools to earn a qualification, get employed, earns a salary, who is used to killing and kidnapping a few people to get hundreds of millions to give up their weapons, it wont work, it has been tried in different Northern States, it did not work. Even a 500K monthly salary that is not sustainable would not get them to really surrender. The only solution is to kill all, post it on the media like they do too, so it sends a warning to the others, till they are weakened to a large extent. Except ofcourse, we are also conceding that they are bigger than us to defeat, then yeah, negotiate with them. Which again, i know wont work.
