Adam Back helped lay the early foundations of Bitcoin, yet here he is — proudly involved in collateralized debt obligations for the financial-industrial complex. Even worse: he boasts about wanting to sell the story that he’s Satoshi Nakamoto… only to then go on media encouraging people to use Bitcoin in the exact opposite way it was designed — not as sovereign, self-custodied hard money, but as just another leveraged TradFi collateral asset. This isn’t Bitcoin. This is hijacking the hardest money ever created and turning it into fuel for the same old debt machine. Real Bitcoin stays in self-custody. Not your keys, not your coins — and definitely not your Bitcoin pledged as someone else’s debt obligation. Stay sovereign. #BitcoinOnly

Another one bites the dust. Cantor, Lutnick, & the financial-industrial complex are wrapping as many Bitcoiners as possible into collateralized debt obligations for the financial-industrial complex. ✅ Jack Mallers ✅ Adam Back ✅ David Bailey ☑️ Next…?

@MarcanoFilms @blockamoto I aint reading all that, but in case it helps: Bitmap is the first ultra hard imagnary asset built on top of an ultra hard imaginary asset. I imagine its going to be very valuable some day so you might as well pick up a few blocks in case it catches on.

Bitcoin is MONEY. The mission is to SEPARATE STATE AND MONEY. NOT a cheap data dumpster for grifters, Ordinals scammers and inscription parasites. BIP-110 is the line in the sand. Either we protect sound money… or we watch it die bloated with spam. No middle ground. I support BIP-110 with everything I have. Who’s standing with us? 🔥📷#BitcoinOnly #BIP110 #FixTheMoney

Have you ever used >83 bytes of OP_RETURN in a single transaction or created a taproot UTXO that could only be consumed by revealing an OP_IF condition when usng Bitcoin for monetary purposes? (If you don't know then the answer is "no")

‘Centralized opinion’ 😂 Bro really called defending Bitcoin as actual money a ‘centralized opinion’ while shilling JPEGs of block heights as ‘virtual land’ for your metaverse grift. That’s rich. Node runners choosing what garbage to relay is literally the most decentralized thing possible. What you’re defending is turning Bitcoin into an expensive subsidized Dropbox so degens can flip speculative block ‘ownership’ while real users get priced out of the mempool. But yeah, keep coping. The ‘it’s possible’ argument is just scammer for ‘please don’t stop us from free-riding on everyone else’s security budget’. Stay mad. The filters are coming.✍🏾 #BitcoinOnly”.

Trying to arbitrage Rental Hash at retail prices to redirect to Ocean Pool for a likely 10% loss in your Bitcoin stack is a High Time Preference daytrading activity. The winners are grifters like @GrassFedBitcoin who's job is to get people to hash to Ocean to secure his paycheck

If you're a Bitcoin noderunner you're much more powerful and sovereign than you probably realize. There is actually very little global hashrate, and it's very cheap to control it with your node. Yesterday at the @bcc8333 conference I brought a @start9labs node that remotely controlled 100 Ph/s for about half an hour of workshop. That is about 1/10.000 of the total hashrate. These shares haven't dropped of @ocean_mining's reward window yet, and since then 6 blocks have been found by the pool. If two more blocks are found before the shares drop off the window my demo will have been basically free.

🚨 Real example of what we’ll start seeing the moment RDTS (BIP-110) activates in August 📷🔥 My Knots node right now (still pre-activation): 📷 1 clean active chain → blocks that will comply with BIP-110 ❌Multiple “valid-fork”, “valid-headers”, “headers-only” → exactly the junk/spam blocks most miners are producing today When the soft fork hits (~block 961k), honest nodes will instantly reject the spam majority and keep ONLY the clean compliant chain. This isn’t a split. This is Bitcoin rejecting cancer on sight.#BitcoinOnly #BIP110 #RDTS #Knots

Well props to Ocean for winning some blocks. Look, if you are successful in stopping inscriptions altogether then you are welcome to your inscription-less version of Bitcoin. It's literally the dynamic of hash power that this is warfare. Your side is just misguided. You think having resolvable data in a transaction makes it somehow worse. That's completely discriminating for no good reason. You think paper should only be used for receipts. Tablets should only be used for cuneiform. Language should only be used for ledgers. We think Bitcoin has a much more interesting destiny, mirroring the rise of civilization through language, art, form and function. When Bitcoin survives us, we want people to be able to look at the chain and see not just our financial transactions, but who we were. Bitcoin is the digital emerald tablet.

Luis Marcano 🦉 BITCOIN ONLY👨‍💻RDTS (BIP-110)@MarcanoFilms

@blockamoto Let’s be crystal clear: you and the Bitmap crowd aren’t neutral cypherpunks defending “what’s possible.” You’re active participants in turning Bitcoin from sovereign sound money into a subsidized spam ledger for speculative JPEG casinos and virtual land grifts. You promote inscribing block heights to “claim” them as metaverse property. That sounds cute until you look at the real costs: • Your inscriptions compete directly with real monetary transfers. Legitimate users sending actual BTC sit in the mempool for weeks while low-value data dumps fill blocks because they pay enough fees to miners chasing short-term profit. This distorts the fee market and degrades Bitcoin’s primary use-case: peer-to-peer electronic cash. • You externalize the costs. Node operators and full verifiers (the backbone of decentralization) bear higher bandwidth, storage, and UTXO bloat. You privatize the hype and flip profits. Classic tragedy of the commons. Bitcoin’s security and decentralization rely on low barriers to running nodes—not becoming a decentralized Dropbox for your “persistent data” experiments. • “Uncensorable persistent data” is not a killer use-case here. It’s a side-effect that becomes cancerous when it crowds out money. Satoshi designed Bitcoin as sound money with a fixed supply, not an infinite data tomb. The whitepaper doesn’t mention metaverses or block-reclaiming schemes. Your “use-case” dilutes the monetary premium that gives Bitcoin its value in the first place. Calling people who want to defend the protocol “wishful thinkers” is cope. Bitcoin evolves through consensus and social coordination—not by letting every grift run wild because “it’s possible.” We already filter invalid txs. Extending rational policy against clear non-monetary spam (via Knots defaults, DATUM sovereign templates, and proposals like BIP-110) is responsible stewardship, not censorship. That’s why people like you feel genuine terror at a UASF with real support (>10% nodes signaling, growing hashrate via sovereign miners). Because when plebs run their own nodes, build their own block templates, and reject your parasites, the party ends. No more free-riding on Bitcoin’s security and decentralization while pumping your speculative ecosystem at everyone else’s expense. You’re not building on Bitcoin. You’re building on top of its weaknesses for personal gain. That’s not innovation—it’s a cancer. It attracts the exact kind of short-term degen behavior that erodes long-term credibility and adoption as money. Bitcoin doesn’t need your virtual land. It needs to stay hard, scarce, and focused on monetary sovereignty. Run your Knots node, mine sovereign with DATUM, filter the trash, and support BIP-110. The network is healing. Your genie is going back in the bottle. #BitcoinOnly #BIP110 #SoundMoney

@blockamoto You clearly haven't studied the proposal. BIP-110 is a temporary soft fork. Blocks enforcing it are already filtering inscription spam — see block 950687 with 0 inscriptions: ordiscan.com/block/950687 Your scamming operations relying on on-chain spam will be filtered out. The market is already rejecting this garbage. Bitcoin is money, not your decentralized hard drive.

You can argue about it until you're blue in the face. The fact is, it is possible and we are doing it. I even built a JS operating system on Bitcoin: atlas.land Your ideological point of view has no bearing on reality. You don't like our use of Bitcoin. Bitcoin doesn't care. And bip110 doesn't prevent bitmap anyway, they are low bytes.

Paying fees to inscribe arbitrary data — whether JPEGs, BRC-20 tokens, or your Bitmap “digital real estate” claims — does not make it a monetary use of Bitcoin. It just means you’re renting scarce block space, secured by proof-of-work and the economic incentives of sound money, to store non-monetary garbage. Bitcoin was built to solve the double-spend problem for electronic cash. Block space is the mechanism that secures that money, not a general-purpose data marketplace. When low-value inscription spam dominates activity, it distorts the fee market, bloats the chain, raises sync costs and hardware requirements for node operators, and weakens the very monetary premium that pays for Bitcoin’s security. Your Bitmap project is the perfect example of the problem: clever marketing layered on top of expensive on-chain speculation. Most of these inscription experiments extract sats from retail speculators and deliver hype cycles, rugs, or assets that go to zero. Meanwhile, they accelerate the centralization pressures (higher node costs, longer IBD) that hurt the network long-term — including the people who actually want to use Bitcoin as money. The internet already has far better and cheaper solutions for persistent, censorship-resistant data. Bitcoin’s unique value proposition is uncensorable value transfer with predictable scarcity, not becoming a decentralized hard drive for metaverse experiments and JPEGs. That’s exactly why proposals like BIP-110 exist: to temporarily correct the distorted incentives created by treating Bitcoin as cheap data storage and refocus the network on its actual purpose. Shilling block space rentals as some kind of evolution isn’t helping Bitcoin — it’s parasitizing it.
