Understanding Bitcoin's code while refusing to understand the incentive structure behind those running said code is not "being technical." It's being ignorant.

Calling BIP-110 "statist" while ignoring that nodes have ALWAYS set the rules is peak hypocrisy. Spam exploding the UTXO set and node costs isn't "freedom" — it's an attack on decentralization. BIP-110 restores sane limits so anyone can run a sovereign node and actually verify. You promote MSTR/STRC and institutional adoption. Fine. But we run real Knots + BIP-110 nodes on modest hardware, mine sovereign with DATUM, and defend Bitcoin as sound money. Not a corporate playground. Nodes set policy. We choose sovereignty over spam. Don't Trust, Verify. ⚡️

1/ @Excellion just projected hard. He claims those of us who want Bitcoin without arbitrary data spam need a private KYC’d blockchain. Reality check: the real centralization risk comes from the spam you tolerate. Bigger UTXO sets, higher node costs, slower IBD → fewer sovereign nodes, more reliance on trusted third parties.

5/ This kind of rhetoric is self-owning. It exposes the false choice they offer: spam or centralization. We choose neither. We choose Bitcoin as peer-to-peer electronic cash. Run Knots. Support BIP-110. Verify, don’t trust.

4/ Running your own full node (Knots on modest hardware), filtering spam, mining sovereign with DATUM/Ocean/pow.re — that’s how you keep Bitcoin decentralized. Not by accepting unlimited arbitrary data and then gaslighting everyone who pushes back.

BIP-110 isn't "statist" or "monetary purity by fiat." That's weak framing from someone pushing corporate BTC narratives while real sovereign operators defend the network. BIP-110 lets nodes limit arbitrary data spam (inscriptions, Runes, etc.) that's bloating the UTXO set, exploding verification costs, and making full nodes impractical for normal people. Bitcoin's consensus rules have ALWAYS been enforced by the economic majority of nodes. Soft forks are how we protect it — just like SegWit and Taproot. Nodes set policy. That's not fiat, that's sovereignty. You talk about liberty, property rights, and Austrian economics. Real liberty is running your own Knots node, filtering spam, mining with DATUM/Ocean, and keeping Bitcoin as peer-to-peer electronic cash — not turning the chain into a paid data dump that centralizes verification. Don't Trust. Verify. Run Knots + BIP-110. The Oracle is watching. ⚡️

The impulse to change Bitcoin’s rules merely to prevent others from using Bitcoin in ways you disapprove of is statist and alien to a community rooted in liberty, property rights, free markets, natural law, and Austrian economics. BIP 110 would impose monetary purity by fiat.

I support #BIP110 because it IS the right thing to do. GFY spammers, scammers, csammers, coretards, shitfluencers, VCs, financial engineeroors, shitcoiners, tokenizers, web3 grifters, etc... Basically if you don't think Bitcoin should be money and nothing else then get fucked
Donal #BIP-110@DonalDevine

I support BIP-110 because I believe it is important, the right thing to do, and good for Bitcoin.
