District 9 earned 4 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, and it’s a film that I find was drastically ahead of its time. Based on the idea that aliens arrive on Earth to find refuge from their dying planet, the story & the filmmaking are both very strong here. Quality Cinema

If AI can now solve math, discover physics and chemistry breakthroughs faster than human PhDs, why are we still training humans to be physicists? Serious question. Should education shift from 'learn to do X' to 'learn to direct AI doing X'? The wrong direction costs a generation their careers.

@RealEmirHan I don’t believe that. If that person is on social media, then I can see her point but like Keanu Reeves, for example, is not on social media so no one can talk to him so I don’t see how it affects him or the people that he plays.

@AuraWolf92 @RealEmirHan Social media has “encouraged” audiences to celebrate mediocrity as opposed to admiring a star for being an individual.
Cancel culture and a taste for average have ruined actors’ marketability and left audiences with boring content but tons of it.

The reality is, social media has allowed us to see a lot of celebrities for what they really are (a lot of insufferable assholes)
