This is so important - when you are doing work for the Federal government, your are explicitly *prohibited* from doing user research (unless you go through a ~6 month OMB approval process).

Free idea someone should probably do: Get the largest employers and payroll systems to agree to data access that enables free/close to zero cost income verification for public benefits like SNAP Work Number charges $15-$50 per ping for this. Public dollars.
