Test interventions (randomized, solid endpoint) in a PSMA-defined patient population is strongly needed.

We need a centralized medical licensing board. As a military spouse and doctor I've got 4 state medical licenses, changed jobs six times, and had who knows how many different insurances. Getting credentialing for a new job is the woooooooorst

@hanna_zrad Agree this is important though “failures” may not be the best term. After discovering the 1st major miss of my independent career I “confessed” to a more sr colleague who I respect greatly and she told me about her similar miss early in her career. All about trust and mentorship.

And how do we counsel those whose failures have injured patients? #JACR

@Bob_Wachter Agree. But FDA needs to approve not just authorize. Once approved health care systems may be able to require vaccination just like for flu.

Important thread & sobering case. To me, the time has come: vaccination should be required for healthcare workers who see patients – it's a moral obligation. We see too many patients who remain vulnerable due to age, disease, or Rx. Enough equivocation – let's do what's right.
