@bhaidar Yep, been there done that! I use: $endDate = (clone $date)->endOfMonth();

🌶️ #Laravel Tip: When extracting two dates out of one, like in the case of startOfMonth and endOfMonth, make sure not to apply both functions on the same date variable. Otherwise, you get unexpected results. An example is worth 1000 words 🧠

@jclermont @phpstan I use Larastan, which is @phpstan with Laravel rules on level 9. The main problem is with 3rd party plugins and Laravel helper functions. E.g. a 'label' method expects a string, if I pass in a translation PhpStan thinks mixed is being passed in. Generics 🤷‍♂️

I'm curious: do you use @phpstan with your Laravel projects, and at what level? If you're not using it, is there a specific reason holding you back?

@AshAllenDesign I started using query() after watching @PovilasKorop video youtu.be/yviVaX7-wT4 the main reason is readability, particularly for multi-line queries, as you wrote "..query constraints on to a new line and they all vertically align in the code" 👍
