I worry about the generation of Milan fans that will never exist. Kids who might have fallen in love with this club the way I did have every team in the world available to them and no compelling reason to choose this one. They can watch PSG, Man City, Bayern, or Barca, or any other club that plays with purpose. Milan has none. It hasn't had any since Cardinale decided to tear down what Maldini built. And it's not just because Milan isn't winning titles. The problem runs deeper than that. I grew up watching the team of the 2000s. Maldini, Nesta, Pirlo, Gattuso, Kaka, Sheva, and Inzaghi are the reasons I became a fan. These were not just great players. They were a certain kind of person. You could feel their relationship with the shirt. Kaka was something else entirely. Elegant and purposeful, he saw the game slowly and played it quickly. I loved the way he burst through openings in midfield and created plays out of nothing. While I wanted Milan to win — and you could argue that that team should have won much, much more — I simply wanted to watch them. That feeling is gone. Not because the trophies dried up, but because the same spirit and traditions are no longer there. It isn't even about the names. I'm talking about character. In the lean years of the 2010s, you could truly throw your support behind guys like Jack Bonaventura and Juraj Kucka. I still get a little flutter when I see Kucka repping the team on social media. I knew what they stood for. Apart from Modric, who is beyond reproach, I really don't know what this team stands for. I wanted Allegri last summer. I thought a disciplined, experienced coach could control the chaos and grind out results. I was wrong. This year showed me how much more the journey matters. I don't trust Cardinale or Ibrahimovic, who increasingly treats Milan as a side hustle, to make it right. They're going to be on their fifth coach in three years after spending around €300 million in transfers — and have virtually nothing to show for it. They've made everything worse. They don't deserve our trust. The question I keep returning to isn't whether Milan can win trophies again. It's whether the club is even worth our time anymore.

Vishai Pai never made a printer in the USA, every single part was made in China. He never tried to make it here in the USA, but instead just sent all of the IP to China. Of course he lives in LA, the most expensive place in America to manufacture anything. Him & others like him are responsible for the Chinese dominated 3D printer market, so what are you coming back to?? Would Prusa be a European 3D Printer company if every single part was made in China? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Bambu Labs whether anybody wants to be honest beats every other 3D printer on the market in quality & price.

@loyalmoses It’s becoming really annoying and I do agree with you, what does the customer want ? Is what @Prusa3D should ask themselves. Funny thing they target one brand only even though there is 100 others but they target that brand because it’s the most successful.

The OG 3D printing industry thinks too small. … and this isn’t a new thought, I’ve been saying this regularly for more than 5 or 6 years. Focusing so heavily on nerds, and never making the pivot to the broader average consumer was a “success” trap. Having a booth in a gymnasium or fair barn at nerd events, might feel like success, but it’s really a waste of time and resources. It’s the same for the content creators in this space. Being at the top of a tiny niche is only success for those who’ve never seen real success before. When building products (content is a product), stop talking like a nerd to nerds. Speak like a normal person to normal people about the things they care about, and your message will carry much further.

Prusa respect and all to the hustle but how long can you keep doing this and saying china this and that either you try and innovate to compete or make way for others. I’m a consumer, I’m not part of a social movement I use those BL machines to pay bills so either yours comes with something new or a better pricing.

This is what I keep coming back to. So many companies in the US and Europe, driven out of the printer business over the last few years. Each one was its own thing, there was a place for everyone, and we were all friends sharing innovations across the industry. Now everything is just a copy of a copy of a copy 📉 I'd do anything I can to make that possible again. I miss a lot of my friends from this business.
