I'm German, love Karp & agree with him on most things including that Germany should be #2 tech scene in the world. He does not understand why Germany feels the way they do about Thiel, but I have nothing against Thiel & would love to chat with him. I'm going to do a live in about 15 minutes that talks about the perception of Thiel in Deutschland. Is much easier to articulate than with a post.

No man, but do you mean "federal service or work for the US Government in some form or fashion"? Civil service is very specific under title 5. In either case I will explain exactly what happens: 2010: A guy you know & me have been chatting online basically weekly for around a year & half about virtual reality tech & what it might mean for the future. I tell the guy how I'm going to join the military & he thinks it's very noble & supports me but also tries to get me to move out to CA to help build VR. I even think he offered to buy my ticket if I remember right, but none the less I was not really educated at this point about venture capital, building companies, nothing. My dad was in the military & then at some point a civil servant. It was a great , but very rough childhood because until I was about 16 we were very very poor. This world where money was not an object as long as we were building the future tech was foreign to my mind & I couldn't comprehend or believe it at the time. So I declined which disappointed him, but he was still very supportive of my decision & great about it. We agree to keep in contact, but it's very infrequent. I ship off to basic, AIT, AFG & around the world. 2011-2012: My first experience meeting the Palantir team who brought this new whiz bang single server stack with software that didn't suck. Mid 2013 in AFG: I see while in AFG that OCULUS scored a major funding deal & I message the guy to congratulate him. He says offer is still valid to come out, but I'm smack dab in the middle of my active duty military contract. 2017-2022: I get out of the military & spend this time trying to make things happen so I can stop working for other people which finally happens. Through it all I've had 5 kids & done some other things, but then Elon bought Twitter which was a lifeline for me. I don't regret anything I've done in my life, but I'm smart man. Had I known about venture capital & the other financial instruments even in 2015, I would be a billionaire today. I could be helping 100x the amount of people I am today, but instead I'm playing catch up with all my peers.

I’ve been arguing for over a decade that mandatory civil service would make America stronger. The typical response was that it would just be an obstacle between people and their goals…or that it’s uNConStITutioNaL and that we’d rather have violent tribalwarfare between the purple hair baristas and the incels. Now that widespread job loss driven by AI looms, the idea has become a lot more palatable. Go check out the argument @PirateWires. Come at me, bro.

I can appreciate the thought here, but this is the red tape that stifles innovation. This proposal also calls for something that we in America have to reject which is censorship. Access to content is not the main concern, but the capability of the models. The real bottleneck here is the lack of localized power+compute required for this effort. This what I propose instead: We develop very accurate & intelligent profiles of each user based on their input tokens along with total power+compute used per query. The beauty of using this method is that each LLM has what I will just say is a unique fingerprint. We use all of this information to develop a digital database that contains the signatures of the profiles of all of the attacks. Ex: Hacker group in London uses FABLE-5 to conduct a large scale DDOS attack against England's critical infrastructure. Now the same group, but in NYC that uses 5.6 SOL against America's critical Infrastructure. These would be 2 different signature profiles in the data base because the LLMs have different fingerprints. Then we use this data base along with other tools that can help protect us against the cybersecurity threats with early interdiction based on the signature identification. Initial accuracy would be in the 95% range, but it automatically increases over time as we get more profile signatures in the database. Below is just a small example of what I'm talking about, but we can do a whole lot more.

@EV_Trapper Honestly, I don't care who gets credit for smoking the dude. Maybe someday the raid video will come out. Until then I'm just glad they got him. The raid itself was an impressive feat on its own.

This is recreated based on all the actual facts that are available for UBL's compound in Abottabad. Small details that are not relevant to the story may be different here & the colors are just standard ones. I studied the interior structure for a few days before I made this. This also reflects everybody's accurate height except for the pointman, and it's relevant to note here that Rob is much taller than BISS. Even in the most optimum of stacking scenarios for this specific stair well, it was not physically possible for BISS to see whether or not the pointman connected with the first shot. The way it's laid out in the DOW is that pointman shoots from the stairwell at UBL who was in the door way, UBL stumbles backwards into the room in front of the bed. Pointman tackles/grabs women in the hallway & Rob pivots right in the doorway, sees & shoots UBL in the head numerous times. The photo below is the spot where UBL's body was by the bed. During the official debrief, the pointman had every chance to dispute Rob's version of events, but he never did so. He never disputed the events as told by Rob since the UBL raid took place. When people ask the guy who was the CDR of JSOC during that mission, he tells people that Rob is the one who took the shots that killed UBL. Rob is officially credited in the Pentagon AAR & narrative as the one who officially killed UBL. Is it possible that the pointman's first shot connected with UBL?? Sure, but there was no blood splatter on the doorway or even on the floor in the doorway. UBL would have also fallen & clogged up the doorway instead of the stumble backwards. It's very likely that the pointman thought he hit UBL which is why he tackled the women. At best if we say that the first shot hit UBL, it was a graze/non lethal shot to UBL. Rob enters & shots UBL twice ending all brain function & then it took probably another minute or so for the body to stop.

Go buy BISS's new book, even though his version of events on the UBL raid are wrong he never deserved to have all of his book money taken from him. mattbissonnette.com/pages/books

Not to mention that BISS has constantly changed the story that he has told about the UBL raid. When he first started telling his story, he tried really hard to claim credit for killing UBL. This interview happened 24SEP2012 with CBC where BISS tried to claim to be the #2 man in the stack as well, but that wasn't true. BISS for many reasons has decided to change what parts of the UBL raid is true depending on the year, the person & other unknown factors. Unfortunately because of his own words & actions, he is not a credible source when it comes to the UBL raid at this point. Rob has called for the pointman to come out & tell his side of the story if his narrative was wrong. To this day, he has declined to do so because Rob's events are true. BISS deserves his photo of UBL back & the DOJ to reverse the legal judgement against him & to return BISS all of his book sales money back. All the warriors who participated in the UBL raid are true American Heroes & this bickering back & forth only serves to destroy the great legacy they built. There are children who have grown up being told that everybody on that raid got justice for those innocent American lives taken on 9/11. We would do good to keep it that way & keep the baby back you know what talk to the back channels. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

@elonmusk You destroyed a lot of evil that day, Twitter was not usable for the majority of America because of how extremist & progressive far left they were. Some day a book should get written that talks about all the evil things they did to conservative leaning accounts!

A lot of people have asked me about this & I want to be honest about it. I still have very deep feelings of resentment & anger towards our Gov+ State Legislature over how they handled this to begin with. Assuming what Meta is saying here is true, it goes a long way towards addressing many of the concerns & problems most of us in Louisiana had. There are still unresolved issues of how little jobs this is providing based on the tax rate(.05%) Meta will end up paying, but they did increase it from the measly 300 to 1000. $5M is not enough, nor adequate for AI education in Louisiana & it has to expand past Richland Parish who is home to the state's worst performing teachers. $100M for Louisiana citizens across our state annually for 20 years would help significantly. All of us here in Louisiana are paying for the data center & deserve some benefit. This is a data center that will clear every bit of $8B in net profits annually. I sincerely appreciate & recognize Meta's efforts to attempt to fix this situation. America needs data centers & more power generation capacity, this goes a long way in helping America solve that! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
