@DingDongWhoDis @ComicDaveSmith Dave strikes me as someone who has never called someone a bitch to their face in real life. It takes a special kind of tough guy to talk shit behind their laptop or on a Zoom call.

@AydinPaladin Nonsense. Even moderate Democrats have been saying that NATO is failing to reciprocate for all that America does and spends to defend Europe. Meanwhile, Turkey shouldn’t even be in NATO.

@A_youngamerican @TheCriticalDri2 Anybody who has watched both Barbarian and Weapons, knows this movie will be excellent and a great Resident Evil horror film even if Zach Cregger goes way off topic halfway through the film.

Jesus Christ, why do we act like Resident Evil is some fiendish creative enigma that the greatest minds of our time have failed to unravel? It's literally a B-movie horror flick that pits a special forces team against zombies and monsters in a spooky house.

@GenePark The whole soundtrack is a rollercoaster tease of greatness and then always circling back to that annoyingly cliche movie theme that I am going to deeply resent in future films. The Star Fox music is so damn good. It really could hold up a Star Fox movie.

my biggest disappointment is that Galaxy's masterpiece of a soundtrack was sparingly used and barely heard. i continue to yearn for a Mario movie that's mostly a silent film. the intro to Wall-E for 90 minutes.

My review of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. I talk about the "end of cinema," how this movie made me think about the BEGINNING of cinema, and why Mario will outlive us all. washingtonpost.com/entertainment/…

Miyamoto says he talked with Koizumi about the relationship between Peach and Rosalina during the development of Super Mario Galaxy and they never came to a conclusion: “When we were developing Super Mario Galaxy, the director for that game, Yoshiaki Koizumi, and I were discussing what Rosalina and Peach’s actual relationship was. We had this vague idea about what their actual relationship could be, and how it would play into the concept of space. We had a lot of discussion about this, but we never came to a conclusion. So we decided that let’s take this opportunity to give this idea some meat and get into the specificity of it, and we had a lot of fun having this discussion back and forth." forbes.com/sites/olliebar…

@GeorgeCrudo I don’t understand the revisionist history with Rosalina being some great character. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a better game than the first for several reasons, one of which is less Rosalina dialogue slowing things down.

"Starfox has more screentime than Rosalina in the Mario Galaxy movie" ok so look I logically see how that is 100% a valid critique of a Mario Galaxy movie and at the same time that is the best thing you could ever tell me to get me to see this movie

@GenePark @iloveairbagged I found the “story bits” with the humans in the Sonic movies to be the worst part of those films for sure. They get better with each sequel as they focus more on the source VIDEO GAME material.

@HoegLaw I actually quite liked the first one upon rewatching it. People need to go back and play Mario RPG and the Paper Marios. They’re all silly with paper thin stories. Just enjoy the ride.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie ditches an engaging story in favor of a pipe-bursting amount of easter eggs, but that’s not an all-together bad thing. Our review: bit.ly/41D0GjZ

All the large accounts that present themselves as truth-seeking journalists or commentators, then quote posts like this and act utterly baffled—“What the hell!?” “WTF!?” “What’s going on here???”—are frauds. It took me less than a minute to see what the court documents actually said and understand what they meant. They do not show that the bullet was not fired from the gun. They show only that the bullet was too fragmented to confidently link it to ANY gun. This is not uncommon, and DOES NOT mean the bullet didn’t come from Robinson’s gun. Of course the defense attorneys are going to spin this as evidence that Robinson is innocent. That is what defense attorneys do. They scrape together every possible fragment of doubt and present it as if it were fully exculpatory. It’s not. Defense lawyers are paid to downplay or ignore evidence pointing to guilt, exploit people’s cognitive biases, and make fallacious arguments sound persuasive. This information about the bullet doesn’t erode the case for Robinson’s guilt in any way. It is totally neutral on that front. And it in no way invalidate the mountain of positive and mutually corroborating lines of evidence we do have for Robinson’s guilt. You should expect more from the commentators you follow, and hold them accountable by refusing to give them your attention in the future. If they could not be bothered to spend even one minute checking the facts before spreading confusion to you and millions of others on X, they do not deserve your attention. They are nothing more than grifting engagement farmers.

@NJBeisner You can tell the nickname "Grandma Groyper" is realllly getting under her skin, but she's not going to make fetch happen because "GG" or "neo-nazi" - while cruelly blunt - are criticisms of her opinions. "Micro" is simply a pure childish insult, and it's not going to stick.

Why does Megyn keep reminding us that she said this? This is like the third time after the tweet I’ve seen her bring it up. Does she think it was a zinger or something? It wasn’t her finest hour. I’d move on and stop referencing it.

Tesla Semi just won over the toughest crowd in transportation: actual truckers. Drivers who tested the pilot models say it's a game changer. The cab puts you dead center so there's no right-side blind spot, plus screens show everything around the truck. It goes 500 miles on a charge while competitors barely hit 225. Charges to 60% in 30 minutes, which is 4x faster than other electric trucks. Costs under $300k, about $100k cheaper than rival EVs. California trucking companies just ordered over 1,000 Semis. That's double the number of electric big rigs currently operating in all of Southern California. The automatic transmission is easier on drivers' bodies compared to wrestling a 13-gear diesel all day. Less maintenance too since there are fewer moving parts. Tesla is expected to ship 5,000 to 15,000 Semis this year from the Nevada Gigafactory before ramping to 50,000 annually. @elonmusk might've actually cracked the trucking code. Source: WSJ
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

🇺🇸 The Tesla Semi is an 80,000-lb electric truck that runs almost silently and costs much less to operate than diesel rigs. Same heavy loads, but without the diesel bill… It's the future of trucking.

Tucker just posted "Bret Weinstein’s Dark Warning to Trump," postulating that Trump is either "not in control" of the military of which he's Commander-in-Chief, or something dark is going on with a "hidden Epstein power structure." That's all that could explain the Iran War

Micro is very mad. Micro doesn’t like it when you fight back. Micro prefers to be the only one hurling vile disgusting invective and he wants his female targets to sit back and take it. When a woman punches back at Micro he gets exasperated. Which is his default. Bc of his micropenis.

You’ve had micro pen*s on your brain and from your mouth for weeks. You’re shaming yourself.  Except you have no shame. I hate reaching into the gutter to deal with your foul crap and I’ve tried to avoid it but that’s where you live and that’s how you conduct yourself.  Now you play victim. You’re a vile, mentally unhinged creep.
