People are not their governments or leaders. Even when they elect them. Americans as a people are not to be judged by who you think a Trump is or who you think Biden is or anyone else. Biden is not a reflection of me. Neither is Trump. I am not to be punished, threatened, or dehumanized for either’s actions. This is no different than saying there are no innocents in Gaza, which I likewise think is a disgusting thing to say, and I called it out early on in the war between Israel and Gaza. And these people will scream how disgusting it is to dehumanize all of Gaza—but then turn around and dehumanize the entire nation of Israel and even Israelis themselves. To be clear, I think it’s horrendous that TSA isn’t being paid and that DHS is unfunded (even as ICE is funded). I also think it’s horrendous that TSA even exists, but that’s another story. 😂 I’m just wondering if y’all have flown in recent weeks and what your experience was

Are airports not as bad as legacy media is portraying them right now? I’ve now had two people fly in the past week and tell me it was basically business as usual. So is the media just hyping up how bad TSA is right now?

Daily seems like a lot for a man as busy as Charlie. I feel like Candace is exaggerating for effect—especially because she’s never proven anything. But I still attend Mass sometimes, and I also don’t find it weird that Charlie and/or Erika might do the same. I no longer practice Catholicism for various reasons, but I don’t hate Catholics, and Charlie didn’t either. He reiterated over and over that he wasn’t Catholic but that he respected them.

@NJBeisner @LexiLex__28 I also don’t find it weird that they would attend daily mass. Even when I was less in the church, I’d attend some of the bigger services bc it was nostalgic/traditional for me!

I think the response to Covid is at least partially to blame. It didn’t begin with the response to Covid, but it took it to a whole new level. And there’s a part of me that can’t completely blame them because what we witnessed during Covid is unconscionable, and it promotes the notion that everything is a grand conspiracy. But people who fall for every conspiracy theory are no better than those who immediately discount everything as a conspiracy theory and trust all experts. There’s actually zero discernment in either camp.

People really voted for Trump but think he’s an idiot. Coincidentally, the same people who claim to be defending Charlie but think he was an idiot as well. Funny…I typically don’t believe the men I support, respect, and admire to be buffoons bamboozled at every turn. Maybe that’s just me.
