Another example of resisted sprinting with @ExceedSPF athletes in Massachusetts. They were the first facility to acquire the Dynaspeed, and soon several colleges and pro teams will follow. If you are a professional, college, or scholastic coach, contact us today!

Force-velocity profiling of athletes during squats, sprints, or throws is rapidly becoming popular. Why is this? Read more in my most recent Patreon article: patreon.com/SandCResearch

Definitely more to explore regarding the human foot in relationship to sprint performance “In summary, it is concluded that foot kine- matics during the contact phase of a sprint for each stride provide useful information on the foot performance during the actual sprint” 🇳🇴 🇪🇸 👌

We are all systems go… looking forward to what information we will gather here with the @MuscleLabSystem contact grid. Many thanks for the tips @sprintcoachSWE

"Based upon the findings of the present study, a correction of +0.21 s should be used to get correct mechanical properties when measuring female handball players with timing gates compared with laser gun measurements on an indoor court." bit.ly/3v8D720

This kind of data could instantly be reported using LaserSpeed at the combine 40y, naturally distances in meter would be replaced by yards🤔

A good way to study innovation is to look at the past and judge the differences. 30 years of athlete performance and still stronger than ever.

Laser+IMU system is valid and accurate, which can be used easily in training and competition to obtain step‐by step kinematics and give direct feedback of this information during training and competition. mdpi-res.com/d_attachment/s… - yes, same algorithms are used with DynaSpeed+IMU

@AthWestchester Use Laser Speed so you can get actual step parameters. Also accuracy and precision is much higher than using split interval timing.

Timed 30m bounds. Top metrics = 5m run in & resulted in continuous acceleration. Bottom metrics = 15m run in and resulted in continuous deceleration. BUT, ALL SPLITS were faster from a 15m run in. Next step will be merged analysis with the @MuscleLabPro contact grid.

For those coaches who use video analysis, integrating MuscleLab is easy and practical. The use of 2-3 synchronized cameras or just one placed properly can make a big difference in saving time and getting the right information for training and coaching.

We talk at nauseam about sprinting w/ full recovery. But how long is full recovery? 6 seconds per yard is a great guideline to use. 10 yard sprint = 1 min rest 20 yard sprint = 2 min rest 40 yard sprint = 4 min rest Without full recovery, we can’t hit or get near max output
