@NicDenso

hey minority group thinkers, the reason you're in the minority is because you're wrong.

Imagine 125 barrels of oil wide circling the earth. That's not how much oil we use. That's just what EVs avoided burning last year.

@sydney_ev @Tesla @TeslaAUNZ EV owners proudly proving they know nothing about cars. So you would've had about two brake & rotor jobs in that time for < $1K. How much does a new battery cost again?

Another massive #EV advantage. Brake pads can now last the life of the vehicle. My Model 3 performance is now at 200,000 km, and the brake pads are factory original and still look like this. @Tesla @TeslaAUNZ

I’m not an EV hater, but the problem with EV’s that no one talks about is: When the range gets to 0 in an EV the car just stops. In some cases they can’t even be pushed… When the range gets to 0 in a Petrol or Diesel car, you have a built in grace period of 30-40 miles that isn’t shown on the car’s trip computer. Thus range anxiety doesn’t exist in an ICE vehicle. Why don’t EV’s do that?

Meanwhile in the UK thanks to the @transportgovuk who restrict us to Tesla's old autopilot system, mine jumped on the brakes at 50MPH for no reason whatsoever and scared the f life out me n my wife as I quickly jabbed the accelerator before someone ran into the back of me. Thanks @transportgovuk for endangering us today.

Driving an older, affordable car in the UK is being actively criminalised as ULEZ & Clean Air Zones expand If your vehicle doesn't meet the newest standards, you are charged up to £12.50 every single day just to commute to work or see family The hardest hit aren't wealthy drivers in new electric SUVs; it’s the low-income workers who cannot afford a £20,000 upgrade

A barrister is facing a criminal record and even prison after he pulled 200 bags of rubbish from a section of the River Roding in Barking Paul Powlesland aged 40 a barrister and environmentalist organized volunteers to clear 200 bags of rubbish including needles and weapons from a polluted section of the River Roding in Barking east London in March 2026 using a hired digger. The Environment Agency sent him a letter alleging he carried out works without an environmental permit launching an investigation under the Environmental Permitting Regulations with potential penalties of up to two years in prison. Powlesland said this river will be restored they now have a clear choice they can fight me and all the other amazing volunteers doing the work or they can get on board and help us and become the good guys in this. He added we have got irises and reed beds coming back I saw fish in there for the first time a couple of weeks ago dragonflies and herons returning with the whole ecosystem coming back to life. The EA said they welcome communities taking steps to improve their local environment but insisted undertaking work without the appropriate permits is not acceptable to prevent unintended harm to flood risk drainage or the wider environment. Powlesland vowed to continue his clean up efforts criticizing the need for licences for volunteer work and pointing to an upstream Thames Water sewage outlet as a source of pollution.

This is the state of UK insurance at the moment. You’re sent a rip-off renewal and with just a couple of clicks, they’ll knock £500 off it. Utterly awful. I am, of course, going with someone else - to take 10-20% off, rather than add 33% on. Completely appalled.

The Makerfield result has left me genuinely concerned about the direction of this country. After everything that has happened over the past few weeks, I struggle to understand how so many people still believe Labour are the answer. Completely stunned and very close to losing hope.

Fun fact time!! As of today, Elon is a net job killer, not a creator. DOGE-related cuts exceeded the number of people employed by Musk’s companies. The rough figures: DOGE-related federal workforce reduction estimates range from about 217,000 to 270,000. He employs ~150k

@JonasRohrer @starnevs @transportgovuk It's like a double edged sword, the system really could preempt an accident, but it's soo jumpy it could just as easily cause one. I wouldn't be soo annoyed but the DFT are obstructing a safer solution.

@NicDenso @starnevs @transportgovuk Also the Autopilot system of the HW1 S had way less and less severe breaking for gosts and spirits on highways than the regulated AP of the HW4 system. To drop out of every assistance system, if deactivated by stearing, is very anoying to. Straight into max recuperation breaking.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reports that approximately 1,000 Ukrainian drones have attacked Moscow. Let us first note that Ukraine is now capable of launching up to a thousand unmanned aerial systems (UAVs) in a single wave. And it is not merely a matter of possessing such a number of drones—Zelenskyy has already announced that Ukraine will produce 10 million of them this year. It is a question of command, logistics, and personnel resources. It is about the ability to organize an attack of this magnitude in the first place: setting up launchers, transporting components, conducting reconnaissance, planning, target assignment, launching, tracking, and post-strike assessment. That is a massive undertaking that must be managed. And Ukraine is capable of doing so. But what happens when that number rises to two thousand UAVs? Or five thousand? Just imagine that.

I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation linked to the strikes on oil depots in Russia, Ukraine, Iran, Gulf states, and beyond. This is a picture of Moscow now. Covered in thick black toxic clouds of smoke, raining oil on 14 million people with cancerous polluted air entering every lung. People breathing this. Animals breathing this. Trees breathing this. A humanitarian and environmental catastrophe. Bombing oil depots has serious environmental and humanitarian consequences. Hazardous "black rain" and "acidic rain" could pose serious health risks as toxic pollutants spread in the air, and contaminated the water—raise concerns of "wider regional pollution exposure", with the long-term effects of pollutants, affect respiratory health and contaminate water, that will affect people for years. Every bomb dropped on an oil depots is a time bomb for the people and the planet. This has moved beyond geopolitics. It's a crime against humanity.

This is how the climate change scam works perfectly. My thermometer has been outside on the ground all day, it reads 22°, I’m wearing a T-shirt and a sweatshirt because it’s freezing. However, they can say it’s 22° in the UK, they can also say it’s going to be the hottest summer since records began. It makes not a jot of difference, because it still feels like 12/14° out there.

I've met someone who went from EV back to ICE, she was on company fuel so there was no financial incentive for her either way, she didn't all that much car how the car was powered, just a means to an end. All the other EV drivers I have spoken to wouldn't go back, some of them were in the 2 car camp having the ICE car for long trips, they are becoming two EV households. From my personal POV, going electric is like stopping smoking, you don't realise how bad or expensive it was until you stop doing it. I guess time will tell.

I don’t believe 90% at all from what I know and the people I speak to. Is this selective polling which can get any result you want? The choice will open up and not be just electric. Electric is far to restrictive in my view. It will be the next Betamax I am sure in say 10 years.
Not another one@NicDenso

@CFSMotorRacing How do you reach the conclusion that electric will be short lived when 90% of EV drivers state they will never go back to ICE?

Petrol and Diesel is cleaner now than its ever been for well maintained cars. The days of electric will be short of that I am convinced with Toyota launching water powered cars and Hydrogen also making inroads. Investing in electric could "lose a few their shirt" I believe.

@CFSMotorRacing How about scrapping all fossil fuels subsidies first, then people can choose to fire diesel particulates at 3 year olds in the nursery car parks knowing that they are actually facing the full price of their choices.
