NEW: The horse that was smacked by a car after its rider tried dancing on top of it in South Carolina appears to be okay. Police say the riders became "very irate" and started yelling before resisting arrest. A woman claiming to be friends with the two men posted on social media that the horse was not injured, according to ABC 8 News. Charlotte officials are reminding residents that it is legal to ride horses within city limits, but say riding an animal "in a reckless, disorderly or careless manner through any street, alley or highway" is illegal.
