🚨The boys 4x100m national record has been SHATTERED🚨 Atascocita (TX) becomes the first team to EVER dip under 39 seconds in the 4x100m, clocking 38.92 at the Victor Lopez Classic 😨 Duncanville (TX) also went under the previous record of 39.76 with a 39.65 finish for second.

I'm bothered by many of the responses to this tweet and similar tweets. FACTS: ✅ Fast guys are good on the track. ✅ Big and strong guys are good in the weight room. However, tons of people want to dismiss speed as genetic, natural, and NOT the result of training (no hard work required). The same people glorify big and strong athletes by pointing out their relentless hard work, toughness, and being coachable. I have my ideas why, but I'm keeping them to myself.
