Of course they "can" - but that childish implication ignores ALL second order effects, not to mention what they WANT to do and SHOULD have the freedom to do with their own property. Worse, you (and other commie ignoramuses) don't understand what this will do to OTHER NYers: what it takes to maintain such properties, what happens to them when they are sold, what happens to the tax base when people leave, what happens to the market for housing overall, etc. You posture and imply, without understanding ANYTHING.

@MeatFaceMeltdwn @FoilCorruption In areas where nobody votes, that is very important. The small minority that votes , vote for ppl who have the same ideologies as them, while the residents just sit there worried about the new Jordans

The expansion of products at Mandami Mart isn't just about meeting demand it's a calculated cultural beachhead. While the private sector traditionally responds to existing needs, this looks more like an artificial attempt to anchor a specific demographic (Muslims) in areas (Puerto Ricans) that won't fight back. Is this a business move, or a taxpayer-subsidized "quiet takeover"? With the Mamdani administration’s clear ties to ideological agendas and foreign financial interests, we’re seeing a strategic real estate play designed to recreate the Bronx model: an exclusive, homogeneous enclave built on the ruins of a once-diverse mostly (Puerto Rican) neighborhoods.

A Citi Bike ride shouldn’t cost a penny more than a subway or bus ride. We’ve got a bill to cap e-bike fees at $3 and end Citi Bike-flation.

Remember when David Stearns told you he could replace Pete Alonso's production with a makeshift combination of Polanco, Vientos, Baty, and others at 1st? And justified it with ridiculous "stats" like WAR? ... and gullible #Mets fans bought it? *smh* #LGM

@SAzzara42 @kylenabecker @RealMetsFanClub Its april. The whole league is bad. Pete has never had protection behind him. NEVER, yet his bum ass is right with judge in production since 2019. Alonso and judge

@kylenabecker @RealMetsFanClub Let’s not forget that you’re wrong. Pete batted behind Soto; Soto didn’t offer him protection. Pete’s batting .206 with an OPS under .700. He’s been awful too so far this year.

I’m starting to wonder if WAR is real! Like, my eyes tell me a player is mid as mid can be but then he’ll have a 2.9 WAR. Then a guy who’s always in the thick of rally or a guy that we fans grow confident in when they’re in a big spot and I’ll see they have 2.5 WAR???? Perhaps the advanced metrics were useful when nobody relied upon them but now that everyone uses them it’s time to spotlight the old ways again. The humanity and intangibles that separate winners from the pack. I’m sure the 26 Mets on paper have all the numbers come back good and they’ll be better than THIS but something is wrong with this team. Did they quantify the pressure of NY and what the value was of knowing players that could perform here? Why do I feel like if we just added a frontline starter or two and one bat we could’ve again went back to war with a good chance to carve out something good in 26.

@FoilCorruption I spoke with many dominican business owners and they didn’t vote. They care more about voting for politicians in a country they dont live in than the country they live in

Your plan to dump taxpayer-subsidized supermarkets into in minority communities is a pathetic display of economic ignorance. By rigging the market with public funds, you are actively trying to bankrupt the Dominican Supermarket Association and the independent owners who have spent decades serving thier community. This isn't 'help, it's a socialist assault on local entrepreneurs. Expect a massive legal backlash against your blatant anti-capitalist agenda.

@maga_never @FoilCorruption That’s not how it works. Prices are based on what the business pays for the product. Prices for the product goes up at the distributor, prices have to go up at the stores
