Yeah man I know… I went to the Phillies game tonight (we are playing in Philly tomorrow), and while the Phils lost, seeing them 10 games over and hope in their stadium makes it really hard to see what the year has brought our team. I want to be hopeful too. I really do! But it’s hard. Almost impossible.

@Weerd_Science @SNY_Mets @chelsea_janes It just feels like this past offseason's decisions are going to hamstring them for at least a couple of seasons. Bad bets that have almost all turned sour, wasting prime Soto years. I wish I was more hopeful, but Stearns has come up empty time and time again.

It really probably doesn’t. I mean, look what they’ve done thus far… if they’re gonna really try they’ve got to lock up some arms. But at this point why? Just cut and trade what ya can and try to find the next batch. If they’re gonna wanna go for it. Gotta get vet pitching to supplement some promising young arms

I am not saying this is not cool (it is!) but just to temper expectations, it's likely that this workprint is the workprint that was the source for the deleted footage that has already been released on home video. I could be wrong, but I believe we have seen all of this footage.

An amazing thing about Cal Raleigh's terrible 2026 is how uniformly and uniquely terrible it has been. Raleigh has only 9 months in his career with 50+ PA and an OPS below 670. THREE of them are this year, March/April, June, July. He also had a 184 OPS in May in 39 PA.

Among Friday the 13th fans there is a demand for this. I didn’t say there was a worldwide cultural uproar for this. But put it this way, if it did come out, Me and 4-5 of my friends would be texting back and forth excited about it. There is a hardcore fan base for all things Jason. This falls in that category no? I own the original poster for part VII and a back up mask from the movie, a life size bust of Jason from VII. Right now on twitter ppl are talking about it.

I am with you 100%. But I do clearly remember Brian @GoodFundies - being upset we didn’t lock wheels up which made me concerned (Brian knows his shit), because I was also kind of meh on wheeler. This was one of the many examples of why I think Brian should work for the @mets He laughs when I say this but if @StevenACohen2 wanted to bring aboard someone with intimate knowledge of this team and their place within the tapestry of MLB… he should hire him as a consultant at the very least.
