If we don't win the league this season ( I think we will ), yesterday's result won't be why we lost the league. It will be because we could only take 4 points from Liverpool, Forest, Utd, Wolves, Brentford & Bournemouth. We played well yesterday, the sad thing is we could have been playing that way for sometime now but Arteta chose to be conservative.

I know I should hate Haaland, as Arsenal likely have a few PLs without him. But I just don’t. Gives it, then can take it all back. The media massively overplayed the whole humble incident. The epitome of what happens on the pitch stays on the pitch, it’s just a game.

I think the problem is we fully believe our own hype and we simply aren't good enough to win the big trophies. Look at the quality difference between our midfield and forward with rest of competition and even City. We are nowhere near. We overrated the manager, the squad and many of these players. Inflated their egos when they were never good enough. And most of all the manager, who is not even close to elite, and standard required to reach the top.

Most of the season I’ve felt the need for calm & that’s mostly been the vibe I’ve had from the manager & players - until this week. Arteta seemed angry & somewhat defiant in Tuesday’s press conference. Rice’s demeanour in his post-match interview tonight was different too. Has something changed in their attitudes or is it me? The performances need to improve but at a point we’re seemingly running on fumes, I wonder if all the negativity towards us can be turned into some sort of fuel. That alone won’t be enough to win a major trophy but can it reignite our challenge on both fronts? Maybe I’m just being optimistic 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

@Tripple____M Agreed. Arteta has shown an ability to adjust though. I think we're super conservative this season in an attempt to just get it over the line. If we do, I believe we'll revert back to a more open style. Let's not forget we've played that way before
