Fishman Island so far: - I'm invested in the story but it's definitely not the most entertaining start to an arc - The environment is beautiful! Like always, I love how much detail goes into the environment 🐟 - Met a lot of new characters like Hordy Jones, Vander Decken IX, Neptune, Princess Shirahoshi, etc - Jones and Decken teaming up might make for a cool scenario. The characters themselves to me haven't been all that interesting, however Decken's mark fruit ability has some potentially cool use-cases Some other side plots developing I'm really liking: - Franky meeting Tom's brother - Robin looking for more history - Jinbei said to be waiting for Luffy on the island 🥲 So far I think the overall concept of fishmen finally revolting after years of discrimination is a good plot with it's ties to how Arlong "failed them" as they say Feels a bit like Alabasta in terms of the Straw Hats arriving at the peak of one party's (rebels) breaking point in a conflict Like I said, bit of a slow start but I am interested to see where the story goes! 🙂
