A bag 💰 from @nvidia , a @Big12Conference invite (plz 🙏🏼 @brettyormark ), a logo revival (see @kylevc ‘s latest work) and the BEAVS would be BACK… Or a beefed up @pac12 with the return of Calford, and adding others.

This is why when the Big 12 expanded and Boise State didn’t get the nod, but certain schools did, it made it even more frustrating. Media market adds never pan out long term. You build competitive conferences with competitive programs. We saw this sh*t coming years ago.

@PhillShaffer @johncanzanobft They should see if they can get an agreement with PAC-12 legacy schools. That would help their travel and give you some higher profile games. I know it is more difficult with the ACC moving to nine games though.

Pac-12 and Mountain West have jointly requested a hearing on the pending motion to dismiss to take place on September 9. Mediation has not resulted in a settlement. Pac-12 statement: “We are confident in the strength of our position and remain focused on upholding the academic excellence, athletic success, and proud tradition that have defined the Pac-12 for more than a century.”

If we've learned anything about the history of college football, Oregon isn't always going to be Oregon as its currently constructed. The game will change. The conferences will change. But if OSU quits now, it'll never catch up.

@nickdaschel I think some of you guys have the wrong take. In tech this is called founders mode. Elon Musk is most famous for it sleeping on the Tesla factory floor. What I take from this, is Bray cares deeply about the program and wants to be in the weeds to set the culture.
