The Fun Pimps, makers of 7 Days to Die, have been acquired by Behavior Interactive, the developer behind Dead by Daylight. Hopefully this change brings with it a renewed focus on making 7 Days to Die a great game, like many feel it once was before the 1.0 release.

This 1,000 number is pretty massive since the company employs approximately 4000-4500 total.

Epic Games has just laid off 1,000 people along with identifying another half a BILLION in "cost savings" to make the company "more stable". The Fortnite magic has become more illusive but the good news is these aren't AI related layoffs.🧐

Will the "Free Lanes" update be enough to revive Starfield? It looks like it's paired with paid story DLC called "Terran Armada". This game has been flat lined on Steam for over a year now.

7 Days to Die spin off "7 Days Blood Moons" has been quietly abandoned by The Fun Pimps. On March 11th, a small development update was posted, letting users know that the game is no longer getting updates since it did not reach the audience size needed to continue. (AKA, it's a failure). You can still buy the game on Steam and if you do you should not expect any updates/fixes or any players to play against. Seriously, there are zero players playing this game which is a multiplayer focused Dead by Daylight clone. Steam should delist this instead of letting people continue to waste $10 it.

With the latest @SurviveIcarus expansion, it has overtaken Factorio in time played in my Steam library. I have 15 games with over 200 hours in Steam, with a very clear genre preference. I'm not sure how Destiny 2 got in there. 🤣

Looks like Krafton tried to fire Subnautica 2's original CEO and founders to avoid a $250M bonus payout. He even asking AI for help. A judge just ruled that Krafton needs to reinstate Ted Gill, hand him full control of the Steam launch, and extend the bonus payout deadline. Hard to justify buying games from a publisher that behaves this way. I only have a couple Krafton published games in my library, @PUBG and @Dinkum_official. I won't be adding any others.

I am absolutely willing to give this a chance even if it’s animated. Bringing back Firefly after so long with the full cast would be a hard pill to swallow since they’ve aged so much. Animating it may be a genius masterstroke. Can’t stop the signal Mal.

@netz0com @Pirat_Nation It's a catch 22, don't update and risk being on the internet and bad things happening ... update and risk not having a working computer at all because Microsoft did bad things to it.

Yet another computer breaking “update” for Windows from Microsoft. Somehow this just keeps happening. Can’t be all the AI coding going on now can it?

Checking in on Marathon after the first week. Comparing max concurrent players on Steam to ARC Raiders, the first week is not looking great. ARC Raiders gained 42K (+16%) by day 7. Marathon has lost 26K (-30%) by day 7.
