I honestly just look at Israel as our 51st state as they pretty much are. We use them for our Middle East agenda and they occasionally go rogue as Bibi is a sociopath and always has been. Also, if you look at how many in congress and the senate are Jewish or have a Israel connection it’s staggering. I don’t say this being anti-Jewish either. Just stating facts

Quick last thought before I go to sleep. As of now, the Islamic regime is still holding leverage, choking the Strait of Hormuz and putting global energy flows under pressure, with traffic nearly frozen and oil markets rattled U.S. and Israel knew this was coming. A Hormuz disruption was always the predictable move. If you think this ends here, you are misreading the board. Something is building, and when it comes, it will be powerful. It’s now the U.S. move.

The EU is deeply concerned about the ongoing Israeli offensive in Lebanon. Civilians are paying the highest price also in terms of casualties. Read our full statement: link.europa.eu/T83HK7

@PomTerkins You have no idea what you’re talking about. The fact that speech is antisemitic, of course doesn’t make it unprotected speech in the United States. That’s not some victory that’s black letter law that everyone accepts.

Judges are largely finding that criticism of Israel/Zionism is 1st amendment protected speech, not antisemitic. Ditto for slogans like “From the river to the sea” Major blows to pro-Israel lawfare operation theguardian.com/us-news/2026/m…

@Lippy_Larry @ExtSpoxEU The UN peacekeepers' role doesn't include doing anything, at best they just stand around. I'm talking about the EU offering combat.

@ProfDBernstein @ExtSpoxEU They'd be as useless as the UN peackeepers. Israel doesn't need help with this one. Let them just stay out of the way.

There's a certain kind of self-described libertarian who is disinclined to believe anything the US, Israeli, or Ukrainian government says, but inclined to believe anything Iran or Russia says. These people are not actually libertarians, they just hate the US government and by extension its allies.

Love the community note: Megyn Kelly's show used a circular graphic blending the US flag with Iran's on her March 3 "AM Update" episode titled "America's Iran War Planning."
Megyn Kelly@megynkelly

@Average_NY_Guy You don’t put another country’s flag on the USA flag, ever. We don’t share it. We treat the flag as inviolate. It’s extremely inappropriate.

I don’t get it. If Hezbollah had flats in this block (unlikely in central Beirut but not impossible) why did the Israelis give everyone inside an hour to get out — including those they wanted to kill? And if there weren’t any Hezbollah people there, why destroy a building with dozens of civilians in it?
The Associated Press@AP

An Israeli airstrike struck an apartment building in central Beirut, on Wednesday. The Israeli army had warned residents to evacuate about an hour before completely flattening it as day broke.

@ProfDBernstein @JohnSimpsonNews Is point to unhouse the hezbollah members living or working there? Or are there immobile military assets there? Is it really just office space?

You can't be serious. There's a fort. You warn all the inhabitants to leave the fort. Why destroy the fort, they have already left? Because they will come back. In this case, they may also have infrastructure in the building that can't be moved out quickly and isn't easily replaced.

@ProfDBernstein @JohnSimpsonNews If the Hezbollah operatives have already left, what’s the military necessity of destroying the building? Preventing them from returning? Does forcing a handful of Hezbollah operatives to relocate justify destroying an apartment building and leaving hundreds of civilians homeless?

First, the government does not by its nature engage in smart allocation. Second, the "scarcities" are perennial, the $200 billion is one-time only. Third, and most important, if you believe that Iran was only going to be a bigger threat later that would have to be dealt with, cheaper to deal with it now.

Upwards of 90% of all the terrible scarcities making our lives worse could be solved by a smart allocation of $200 billion. But instead we're going to use that money to murder Iranian children. Any Dem who supports this is an utter piece of shit who needs a primary.
Jeff Stein@JStein_WaPo

SCOOP: The Pentagon asked the White House today for more than *$200 billion* for the Iran war supplemental, sources say Some White House aides think Congress won't support b/c it's so big Will tee up giant battle in Congress
