@Jeffer_Laughlin @NHL 4 of first 5 seasons were 100+ in a much lower scoring era. People forget how good he was, and that he won the Calder over Crosby.

@ryanwhitney6 @BizNasty2point0 My 4 year old got a pack of hockey cards at Pure Hockey. I ordered them by current draft position without looking at HockeyDB. How'd I do?

The Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), comprised of the USS Boxer (LHD-4), USS Comstock (LSD-45), and the USS Portland (LPD-27) with the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Group (MEU), is on its way to the Middle East after departing the U.S. west coast for deployment.

@Miroshnitanko @capstrav1s @kingconnor24 Green was electric. He was a one-man breakout. Injuries and Oates ruined a few prime years in DC but he's the mold for every mobile defenseman that's come along in the last 10 years.

@KenPlatt45 @bulkeley_john @sentdefender It took less than 150k troops to invade Iraq and capture Saddam in the 2003 Iraq war. We're not there yet in terms of troop buildup, or air or sea buildup. But with modernized weapons, munitions, satellites, etc., I don't think we're that far off in terms of troop numbers.

@smoothjabroni @Crypto_LedgerX @sentdefender This is incorrect. The primary mission of amphibious assault ships is to put Marines on the ground. Carriers establish air superiority and their mere presence can be a deterrent. Amphibs are designed for assault, not power projection.

@BlandInAmerica @sentdefender They're cool and reasonable people can debate the merits, but these are still very expensive to build and maintain, lack sufficient armor, they're slow, and inferior to modern nuclear-powered carriers in almost every aspect. Build more destroyers and submarines before AAS.

@pbatemen @antipushcart2 First of all, that didn't happen. Averaging 15 yards longer than Tour pros is legitimately bullshit. Second of all, you have no understanding of spin and trajectory. Higher handicappers and lower swing speed players arguably benefit more than pros.

i loved them when they came out ...they were definitely different. i was also around 27 or 28 and could legit have the club head speed to send one 300 on a regular basis i would just be surprised that other balls havent caught up. just dont think they have a secret sauce anymore also, for the average handicapper they arent doing anything. you dont have the club speed.

This is pretty much what every millennial wants the metaverse to be. They don’t want a digital future but rather an escape back to a simpler time.
