OCE closet cheaters in #SeaOfThieves are so fucking stupid man, lmao.
if you're the all-timer cannoneer you are NOT a red skelly called "R4wD0gRandy" who asks swabbie questions in @OogidyBoogidy62's chat lol. dial back the cannon aimbot pls dawg or better yet just learn to play
@QuestionMitch@loinbread@velvetbrownfox@OogidyBoogidy62 I quite assure you that giving them ANY attention at all...is far worse. The fact that it is negative and it was done in a means to infiltrate, is going to make it THAT much worse.
@AlmtyChcknPoo@loinbread@velvetbrownfox@OogidyBoogidy62 I now see having a conversation with you like a rational person was a mistake lmao. They already use all their free time to chase us down anyways, we enjoy making fun of them, it is funny. You are not a real person.
Honestly better than drawing a magnifying glass to yourself...crying about being harrassed and then trying to go in like some ultra secret detective is only going to make the harrassment worse. I guarantee that. Staying quiet. Scuttling. VPNing. Those are things you can sometimes pull off. But trying to infiltrate them? Yeah. If you know how they act, then you know you just sealed your fate. Rare has been trying to repair a lot of shit. But they also just laid off a ton of people and have been trying to repair an exceedingly shitty public image. Best thing you could do to combat it, is not acknowledge it knowing they are trying to fix it, but it's going to take some time at this point. Now, the cheaters will make it unbearable for you to play again and you will cry about being harrassed again.
@AlmtyChcknPoo@loinbread@velvetbrownfox@OogidyBoogidy62 Horrible way to live your life only caring about how your actions affect yourself. Not how it allows these people the positive attention they want by bending the knee to them and acting all nice. They are sad motherfuckers and giving them positive attention is worse than negative
@AlmtyChcknPoo@loinbread@velvetbrownfox@OogidyBoogidy62 Would you rather us treat all the cheaters who do horrible shit nicely like other people do? Just to save our own ass? Seems like you have no principles. My friends get constantly harassed and so do many other people. Won't treat these people normally for our own selfishness.
@loinbread@velvetbrownfox@OogidyBoogidy62 Maybe for the time being. Be careful though. They will probably start coming for you harder now trying to doxx you even more. Harassing you harder. Which is the very thing you were trying to dodge not long ago. But now it just completely drew that focus onto you.
To celebrate yesterday's announcement of Everwild at #X019, we threw a mini-party in Rare reception for our hard-working team - brimming with bubbly, plants, macarons and the planting of a tree, which we have yet to name.
@HitboTC@SeaOfThieves@MixelPlx I also haven't really valued CoL much at all for quite a few seasons now already, they aren't really anything by themself as they give such small amounts of rep in the scheme of 500 levels. The only rare items I care about now are ones used for commendations (CoF, bounties, etc).
@HitboTC@SeaOfThieves@MixelPlx (Not saying I dislike the grab and run events, I do it often and enjoy it, its just a nice change of pace to have to play things differently)
New event in @SeaOfThieves is kinda nutty. You used to only see stacks like that from legends like @MixelPlx but within 1hr i was able to get 30 Ashen Chest of Legends…
Do you think this devalues treasure even more? I miss the yoink for the single chest. Where everyone would fight for it!
@summit1g@MakEhOh@KGDraykenhltv.org/news/21067/tea…
There are many examples of OP mechanics existing in games that the devs allow and call "fair game" until patched. I'll use this CS:GO instance for example. The only real thing the players can do is just agree to not use it against each other. Devs fault.
@summit1g@MakEhOh@KGDrayken Yes blunder is op, yes exploits are op. Can everyone do them? Yes. Do they fundamentally change the way your game works like cheat programs do? No.
It's like abusing an OP gun in cod, usually the players have a gentleman's agreement not to use it, that's about it. Rare's fault.
Crazy still after 7 years of #SeaOfThieves, players still call cheats on better players more than ever.
Just today @summit1g called a mid-tier hourglass crew cheaters for "quick reloading" and "knowing when he was on the ladder"
anyways here's funni vid of him hackusating
Sometimes I look at @TomkyGG and I am still baffled we live together.
I've never felt so supported, relaxed, and calm before.
No problem feels to big to solve or hurdle feels too high
He's always been the best team mate, I'm glad it's followed through into our real lives ❤️
