After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to step down from the @SeaOfThieves Partner Program. I love Sea of Thieves and I’ll always be thankful for the opportunities, friendships, and memories that came from it. But seeing the recent news surrounding someone who was elevated and promoted by members of the CM team has honestly been disgusting. Especially hearing that some people may have known about certain behavior and it was still pushed forward anyway. As a Christian, I have to stand on what I believe is right. Between this and years of harassment that creators have dealt with while little was done about it, I just can’t continue representing the program in good faith anymore. This wasn’t an easy decision because I truly love this game and the community we built around it. But I feel like it’s the right decision for me, my family, and my community moving forward. Thank you to everyone who supported me through all of it.

The community and game are on fire, it's so sad to see. Whilst I don't usually comment on such matters, I have been deeply concerned by recent events. I hope that internal learnings and additional safeguards are implemented to ensure it never happens again. #SeaOfThieves

Watching ARC Raiders go from being adored to hated over the last 6 months has been…something. Guys we all want more content… But maybe just accept that it’s a $40 game that you got your moneys worth out of. Come back for new content later and go play something else.

Real talk about the @RobertsSpaceInd wipe. I think it’s a good thing overall but I don’t like this dismissive behavior of people in the community about how some people don’t have as much time to play and it hits them harder. Two things can be true at once.

@XeroState @RobertsSpaceInd Solid take brother. As a gamer I feel for those where the wind got knocked out of them.

@HitboTC @RobertsSpaceInd ...also, heavy blame upon those that exploited and perpetuated exploits. Some blame on the devs for letting exploits run for so long Some blame on people for not seeing the forest for the trees (a wipe is an opportunity, generally speaking)

I’m torn guys. I have a standard Ironclad but feel like the Assault is just more fun looking. I know there’s more cargo on the base, but losing out on the torps, RRR, and fabricator feel like a huge miss. I do primarily plan to use it as a cargo hauler but wondering if the loss in cargo for the Assault would be more fun in groups. I’ve always wanted to be the big ship people come to repair on. It’s why I can’t wait for the Liberator. Someone help me decide.

@HitboTC @RobertsSpaceInd it is a gut punch for those who have played honestly and put in effort to obtain these milestones. Those who did the exploits polluted the game and stole all trust we had. While not enjoyable, it was necessary at this point. It is a game, and Zero to Hero is part of it now.
