@HitboTC @SeaOfThieves It was always bothering me that this game cannot really sell pirate items. I don't like Fortnite items in Emporium, now this. Release real unique pirate sets in Emporium and let me spend $ to support the game I love. Stop with goofy items and fantasy sets. We are pirates.

I will say… seeing “cat ears” in a pirate game is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen in terms of stuff being released in @SeaOfThieves We want bloody PIRATE cosmetics and have always wanted that.

Besides this is a twitch drop - most acceptable place to drop "wacky" cosmetics, and also is not even cranking the top 50 stupid cosmetics in this game. It looks good.

@HitboTC @SeaOfThieves This is a fine argument and I agree generally. But it's far too late to be making a fuss about this now. The cat ears are silly but there are tons of similar cosmetics in the game already. These don't especially bother me. The devs need to look at exclusively Y1/2 for inspiration

@x2hunnid @SeaOfThieves Never said it was going to stop me from playing the game. Just that I think these are dumb and want more piratey cosmetics. Recently started play black flag again and that is some amazing cosmetics in that game.

@HitboTC @SeaOfThieves Personally, lady pirates don’t have a lot of clothes to select from. Not all lady pirates want to wear a dress. A lot of cosmetics are more masculine type to begin with. Cosmetics shouldn’t be a thing to make or break you from playing or enjoying the game.

@HitboTC @SeaOfThieves It's not piratey true, but there is collabs with destiny (completely different game) and so many other little things that aren't piratey aswel (such as blizzard sails) It's just another one for the collection. I personally would find it really funny if I got boarded by cat ears.

Recently, someone at @RareLtd reached out to me after watching my latest YouTube video about how much I miss @SeaOfThieves, but also how I feel like the ship has gotten a bit off course. I laid out a lot of my thoughts in that video. They told me it was a hard video to watch, but they agreed with a lot of what I had to say. They also shared that they want to see the seas get back on track and acknowledged that it’s going to take time to get there. I’m a nobody. The fact that someone took the time to reach out and have such an open and honest conversation with me genuinely meant a lot. And the truth is, that conversation gave me hope. It actually inspired me to jump back into the game a bit this week. The seas may still feel the same as they did before, but knowing there are people behind the game who care deeply about its future and aren’t giving up on it gave me some hope again too. I think some people believe I hate Sea of Thieves, and that couldn’t be further from the truth. Have I been hard on the game? Absolutely. But it comes from a place of love. I’ve spent thousands of hours sailing these seas over the years. This game has been a massive part of my life, my content, and my community. I care about Sea of Thieves, and I genuinely want to see it succeed. So with that being said, you’ll probably see me sailing the seas a little more often. Not because everything is suddenly fixed, but because I have a little more hope for the future of the game. Here’s hoping this ship finds its course again. 🏴‍☠️
