@KamalaHarris Appreciate your gracious words. It is very sad that this morning a student jumped off our university parking garage and passed away. I'm sure they were struggling with so much, but there is darkness and sadness with what has happened lately.

There is an adage: Only when it is dark enough can you see the stars. I know many people feel like we are entering a dark time. For the benefit of us all, I hope that is not the case. But, America, if it is: Let us fill the sky with the light of a billion brilliant stars.

Japan's SLIM spacecraft lands on moon. JAXA said that the solar panel on SLIM is not functioning. The malfunction of SLIM's solar panel could reduce the time that the craft will be able to operate.  Slim choose one of the most challenging terrain for soft landing.

Here's the final few of days of #SLIM around the Moon. After today's orbital change the final orbital changes occur during the final orbit at apolune and then perilune just before landing. So SLIM is all setup it appears for the final sequence of the landing attempt.
