I’ve mentioned it before, Dragon Ball’s one of those shows that despite its popularity gets disregarded in terms of actually praising its writing Mostly just comes down to “aura” compliments And if you ever dare try to discuss anything about its writing you get a bunch of people posting “toriyama didn’t care” interview statements (even though you can find interview statements of him talking about actual thought he put into things)

@mozzarellareliy @NoLimitsRiq @wstgoat7 I love both but tbh it doesn't even matter and is not comparable DBZ isn't trying to be deep or have crazy consistent world development, Akira wanted to end it after frieza which isn't even half way through the show. But it's still a great fun watch.

@Wuirkyfr @SlghtlySthrn its actually insane part 3 has like twice the episodes of part 4 But in page count part 4 is actually the longer part Generationally slow pacing on part 3, when I saw the aging guy had a 2nd episode I wanted to drop it 😭😭

@SlghtlySthrn @Wuirkyfr I hated part 3 and 4 but for some reason 5 hooked me like no other. My point is every part hits different depending on who u are, literally every persons rankings of the parts is gonna be different. (now I love parts 3 and 4 looking back and remembering the times)

@Wuirkyfr Should I watch the rest of JoJos to get to stone ocean? It’s seems cool but I stopped after the car episode in part 3. I said “this is stupid” and returned to doing whatever I was supposed to be doing
