@Silver_neigh @jessiegender It's the standard pattern we've seen thousands of times since SA came out: nuTrek sucks - the pathetic viewership numbers are indisputable - so they have to pull down classic Trek to make nuTrek look ok in comparison. Thankfully, everyone else knows better.

Really is the most damning part of Starfleet Academy: its fans - what few there are - simply cannot defend the show, they can only tear down what came before. No, Star Trek was not always crap writing parading idiot characters through worse stories, and I'm not sorry about that

BBC argue that people can't watch iPlayer outside of the UK. To quote the BBC: "The BBC prohibits the unauthorised use of VPNs to watch iPlayer from outside the UK and takes active steps to enforce this ban. Steps include stating in its terms of use that VPN access is barred and using the GeoGuard service to block unauthorised users with IP addresses located outside the UK" Maybe they need to learn what VPN's can do.
