Is it time to legislate; if a change of leader is forced by its own Party then a General Election must be called.
That would stop the constant churn and focus all politicians on delivery, instead of work place politics. These endless ‘house of cards’ games would end and the country would benefit.
Let’s legislate to focus minds.

That’s why I’d restore Sure Start - with an extra £1.7bn funded by the wealth tax that actually works - to help close the gap between the richest and poorest backgrounds.

Like I said. Reform are still complete amateurs. They messed up initially. But even then they could just have apologised and moved on. But no. They had to run the usual playbook of getting in people’s faces. Nuts.

Inflation is down today, in part thanks to action we've taken on energy bills.
But the price of electricity is still set by global gas rates, despite half of our electricity coming from renewables.

On “the Burnham campaign is a shambles!” from some Labour MPs. These are the same people confidently asserting he’d blown it at Labour conference. The reality is that in the first 48 hours he’s successfully framed himself as someone who can speak human, is rooted in the area he wants to represent, and is a an antidote to the Westminster status quo. Which is exactly the framing he needed.
