This is the funniest thing I’ve seen on the internet. Afroman had his house raided by Ohio Adam County deputies… who found absolutely nothing… broke his door, trashed his place, allegedly had $400 go missing… and then they refused to pay for the damages. So, like any reasonable rapper would do… He turned his home security footage into music videos, mocking them. And then, the deputies sued him for FOUR MILLION dollars… because they didn’t like being made fun of. And Afroman’s response? He dropped ANOTHER music video. In his own words: “Unconfidential informant lied to Police to get out of some trouble. Adam County Sherriff officers made a mistake by believing the lie. Raided my house, found nothing, refused to pay for the damages and filed a lawsuit against me, Afroman, for exercising my freedom of speech! This is me holding trial in one song. I hope you enjoy it.” They said his videos “ridiculed” them… so he decided to show them what that actually looks like. And the best part? A jury basically said… yeah… you don’t get to raid someone’s home, end up in their surveillance footage, and then cry because they used it to make fun of you.

Sorry to hear this. We shared an agent but I only met her once. She was intimidating to be honest and, while I didn’t agree with what I’d heard about her way of working, totally respected how she put women, journalism and facts first.

@Thievesbook There’s a lot of research showing that autistic people often have anxiety. As for it being a ‘mild’ trait. Tell that to people whose lives are wrecked by it.

On #InternationalWomensDay I’m going to share a radio programme I made a few years ago for @bbcworldservice that put women to the fore. It’s timely for several reasons as First Woman on the Moon looks at the build up to the Artemis programme and why it’s important to get women on the lunar surface. Best of all it’s presented by the inimitable Wally Funk. It’s so nice to hear her say ‘I never got to go into space’ knowing that just a few years after this was made she did (!) with Blue Origin. Wally remains the oldest woman to have gone into space. Link follows.

Finally finished my timelapse of the lunar eclipse under the aurora in Fairbanks, Alaska! Check out the massive substorm turning the ground green in front of the eclipse, too! This is one of my favorite timelapses I have captured!

@ScienceNelson @Docstockk @unherd Yes and autism waitlists need to come down, autistic focused therapy needs to be available and not just CBT. Stock is saying that people like ourselves shouldn’t get a diagnosis because we survived for years without one
