@tenchylad Completely agree mate.. his contract should’ve been sorted (thus giving the club protection to reject approaches) however from his perspective the offer of job security (rather than rolling contract) and probably a large wage increase is no doubt very tempting..

This isn't fully at the door of the club , yes they left themselves wide open with a short term deal and arguably should have sorted in May. But AN needs to be looked at here also. If he wanted to stay he could have ,but decided that there is a better chance at Stoke. Bad day

I convinced my wife that we needed new carpet when we absolutely didn't. Made sure we bought the fluffiest carpet available so when I vacuumed I could pretend I was a premier league groundsman. The stripes look incredible

@Th0dg70n @martinatk10 No, it’s not acceptable but we’re also not entitled to anything.. We deserve to still be in this league based on other teams being better than us over the last few year.. We’ve never looked like a strong promotion contender consistently

@SleepDaniel @martinatk10 That is always a possibility, however, you have to respect that 5 seasons in this league for us isn’t acceptable. With the exception of Parky, the majority of fans have gave every manager backing. Granted patience is often lost too quickly. GM is everything we’ve already tried

To those who have reservations over Keane returning, does the Well documented alternatives of Alex neil, grant McCann and neil Lennon get the pulses racing? Thought it.

@martinatk10 @Th0dg70n For what it’s worth, I’ve no preference as none of them really get me excited for what’s to come.. I will support the manager who comes in.. If I were to choose I’d rather we go for another longer term appointment such as a highly rated foreign coach..

@martinatk10 @Th0dg70n So let’s speculate, Keane comes in and we don’t win promotion or look like being promoted, our fans are then fickle enough to turn around and blame the manager who they’ve ‘chosen’.. I think fans need to trust the club to do what’s best and to support them no matter what..
