@planet4589 Jonathan, our data provider is aware of the current issue with some basic orbital data (incl TIPs) not reaching @SpaceTrackOrg as expected. They have identified the problem and are actively working on a resolution but do not have an estimated time to return to full capacity

Owner/Operators and other spaceflight organizations received specific instructions in an email on how to continue to access SpaceX ephemerides without degrading spaceflight safety in any way. The general public should get ephem directly from @SpaceX

@meanderingexile SpaceTrack made orbital safety routine; splitting ephemeris access means more manual checks, slower conjunction analysis, and higher uncertainty. Not a step forward for efficient space traffic management.

Hard to blame them for this- SpaceX ephemeris is duplicated data, and the volume is massive compared to a lot of what SpaceTrack hosts. Still, it feels like a turning point. SpaceTrack has served as a de facto traffic management system and central clearinghouse for years.

@VSamson_DC @CommerceinSpace SpaceX is still in the catalog and will have TLEs. This is specifically about hosting the operator ephemeris that SpaceX publishes. The concern about whether TraCSS will actually be able to pick up this function is legit.

Presumably @CommerceinSpace's TraCSS will take on this role but a) TraCSS got zeroed out in the most recent budget request - not sure about its future; b) this transition is not complete; seems like a bad idea to have the single biggest op'r not included in the official US cat

The whole system has obviously been under strain with the increasing volume of launches, but with the future of TraCSS unclear, we might be entering a more ad-hoc era for a bit.

Pretty much unable to update Starlink & OneWeb SupGP following today's update on @SpaceTrackOrg. Clocks show start of processes and complete with checkmark or warning triangle. Bulk downloads (zipped) are failing almost entirely. Other SupGP processes are working fine since they don't get their data from Space Track. May have to switch to downloading tens of thousands of files individually and see if that works.

Space-Track.org will be temporarily unavailable for scheduled maintenance on Wed., 13 Nov, from 1830-1900Z. The outage should last less than 30 minutes. Space Forces - Space (S4S) will continue spaceflight safety screenings and resolve any high priority events directly.

S4S has confirmed the breakup of RESURS P1 (#39186, 2013-030A),  which likely occurred 26 Jun sometime between 1512-1640 UTC. Currently tracking 100+ associated pieces at est 350 km altitude -- analysis ongoing.
