@dylanxshort I think this is fair For me, I put more value in the hits playing for years together at the mlb level rather than being top 10 farm system rankings like some apparently do (not saying this about you)

@StatsSAC They're weird. They hit 1 draft pick out of the park every season, sometimes 2, but they don't do well across the board. The 24 class looks like it might change the narrative, but they've been kind of a boom/bust draft team

The Braves not drafting or developing well is a blatant lie Not only is the core home grown, Drake Baldwin and Michael Harris II are two of past four NL ROYs Strider, Schwellenbach also have come in past four years and many other talented arms on the way Talent is a plenty
ATL Sky Chop@LeftTurnsRock

@StatsSAC They don’t develop or draft well enough to have attractive farm depth, and don’t do well or have fortunate luck with injuries while being a Luxury tax paying team. C’est la Vie

@RyanLottinger You many want to look at the numbers closer, because the trend you trying to point out is false lol

@StatsSAC I'm just breezing through war. It's not perfect. But it shows this trend And Austin's first two seasons he had 200 at bats. His first full season was his third season.

Austin Riley was a Top 7 NL MVP finisher his 3rd, 4th, and 5th MLB seasons Albies was an All Star in his Fifth and 7th seasons If folks wanna be negative, to each their own But making stuff up just to be more negative is nonsense 😂
AAisEpsteinsHandler@RyanLottinger

@StatsSAC Ozzie had his best years his first two seasons. Riley, the same. Harris the same. They came. They popped. And haven't added anything to their games since. The braves developed the player. But it stopped once they got up. Acuna is an alien. So it's not really the same.

@NathanMcKinnon Smarter people don’t agree with you, but I guess being negative is the cool thing to do lol

@StatsSAC They had a C- offseason and that’s being generous. Marginally passable. They should’ve done more to help the rotation issues with losses and injuries. I simply believe they are a 3rd place team barring severe over performance or massive injury issues to teams ahead of us.

The Braves had a good offseason But countering the losses of Schwellenbach Waldrep Wentz Profar With Dominic Smith Kyle Farmer In Spring Training doesn’t feel good for business The Braves are very good on paper, but a ton of risk exists as well

@RyanLottinger @StatsSAC They have had jewels come up and have a good cup of tea. They have not been able to develop enough depth to do that + trade while at seemingly their maximum payroll and not willing to commit to years on the FA Market.

Including their respective rookie years: Albies is 4th in fWAR among 2b (since 2017) Riley is 8th among 3b (2019) Acuna is 4th among RF (2018) Harris ll is 9th among CF (2022) Yes, the past 2 years have been struggles for most, but the homegrown core has grown just fine
AAisEpsteinsHandler@RyanLottinger

@StatsSAC You can say something about the development once they hit the majors. No one has really improved since their rookie year pop. (Minus the Acuna crazy strikeout drop year) But the minor league development has been great.

@LeftTurnsRock Ans yet many sources give them Top Five odds to win the World Series They should have gone out and added more depth over the past few weeks, no doubt But keep your lies and negativity to yourself

@StatsSAC They’re far from the worst, but the notion of them being one of the best drafting and development teams has been severely blown out of proportion solely because guys come up and have a good rookie campaign and either are hurt all the time or decline.

Man this sucks The Pistons franchise and fanbase have endured a lot to be in the great position they are in currently And they all deserve it Cade is magnificent and this just horrible to see Hope he gets good as soon as possible and Detroit’s chances to contend remain
Shams Charania@ShamsCharania

Just in: Detroit Pistons star Cade Cunningham has been diagnosed with a collapsed lung and is expected to miss an extended period of time, sources tell ESPN.

Tonight’s results are a big deal for Memphis. At Pick 8, Grizz either have 30% of picking top 4 or 70% chance picking 8th or later At Pick 7, Grizz have 35% chance of pick Top 4 and 51% of picking 7 or 8 So going from 8th to 7th slot is over 20% increase to stay in top 8
