@WilliamShatner Actually - in my 6 year experience driving Teslas - supercharging is quicker than gas as it’s on average 5-7 minutes total, where gas is pump, repark the car, go in, queue to pay, pay, go to the toilet, drive away.
English

And for the #teslarites who don’t understand 500 miles. Time is money. How long does it take to pump a tank of gas? 4-5 mins versus 30. Early last week I went up to the Yosemite area (about 300 miles.) I got up there, did my thing and got gas (5 mins) and drove back. With a Tesla. It would be drive up (maybe on one charge) charge up 20-30 mins, do my thing. Drive back, stop along the way to recharge (again probably another 20 mins…) That’s too long. 500 would be one recharge so it’s 10 mins gas versus 29-30 mins which I would consider.🤷🏼

Together with RDW, we have officially completed the final vehicle testing phase for Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and have submitted all documentation required for the UN R-171 approval + Article 39 exemptions. The RDW team is now reviewing the documentation and test results package internally. They have communicated the expected approval for Netherlands date of 4/10, shifting from 3/20 previously and we look forward to successful completion of this cooperation.
Following the Netherlands’ approval, European countries will be able to recognize this approval nationally. We are anticipating a possible EU-wide approval during the summer.
Over the past 18 months, this approval has involved a series of intense documentation, development, testing, research & audits. Including but certainly not limited to:
– 1,600,000+ km of FSD (Supervised) testing on EU roads
– 13,000+ customer sales ride-alongs
– 4,500+ track test scenario executions
– Thousands of pages of written documentation for 400+ compliance requirements
– Dozens of research studies into safety performance/results
We're extremely proud of the work conducted with the RDW team up until this point.
We very much look forward to the approval in April, and sharing FSD (Supervised) with our patient EU customers!

some rich billionaire, can you please create an airline that will destroy every other airline?
- charge fair straight forward premium prices
- optimize for comfort, food, & premium experiences.
- fuck the rewards, credit cards, & points. just clean beautiful experiences.
maybe acquire few airlines to do it for gate access.

@maxkarpis wouldn’t it be safer if it were stored within The Secure Enclave?

NEWS: Revolut is about to launch Revolut ID - your identity control centre accessible through the Revolut app.
You will be able to use it when you need to fill out forms, check in for flights or hotels, complete online verifications, or need your ID details anywhere.
Identity details will not be stored on the device, but will be called from Revolut servers with an extra security layer.
Launching in the EU/EEA soon, probably in Spain first.

@niccruzpatane and still won’t know difference between kid standing and looking and kid thinking about crossing the road

@DJSnM @AerLingus EU reg 261 has you covered - airlines don’t like to promote following bit of it but if your flight is cancelled the airline needs to put you on a competing airline so you can make it to your destination per the original planned time
English

Oh boy, I just discovered @AerLingus cancelled my flight from Glasgow to Orlando a week ago, notification went straight to spam.
English

@hcdoe @maxkarpis here in Ireland the word “revolut” has entered the public vocabulary as a replacement for basically *any* kinda of digital asset transfer
English

@maxkarpis IMO they’re biggest struggle is that there no single market they are dominate in

Valued at $75B now, Revolut will become a $1T company. Here is why:
-Revolut is solving a permanent problem:
Bank branches, long waits on a call with the bank for CS, high FX rates, friction - that world is going extinct. Revolut saves these parts forever.
-Growing bigger with scale:
We see how Revolut's user and its infra network effect is kicking in.
Every feature acts as a switching deterrent to the user. If you do switch, it won't be the same.
-Revolut ships new features fast:
You can't consult your way out. Legacy players can't keep up.
All leads to Revolut becoming a bigger piece of the pie in every market.
That is why we will see $1T Revolut🚀

Marktanteil in D 0,678 Prozent.

@Dictocratie1 @rijkhoff wow, say you’re clueless without saying you’re clueless 🤭
Tesla doesn’t have dealers, cars are bought via Tesla app/web direct from manufacturer, order goes *to the factory*
English

@rijkhoff They are not sold, they're on their way to a dealer lot

@30xEngineer @BLKMDL3 What? First of all, gasoline doesnt lose efficiency, maybe ethanol. Secondly, this is a diesel. And battery's, it has 2 read top optimas. Car batteries set on store shelves for long periods without issues, why wouldn't they set in the truck without issues?

@Stipe @Timoldland @BMW You're correct, Tesla haven't meaningfully updated their platform in ten years.

- 400 kW charging
- More than 200 miles of range added in 10 minutes
- 460 HP for the launch model (i3 50 xDrive)
-Expect at least 10% more range than the iX3. Around 900km (WLTP) or 440 miles EPA.
Built in Munich starting in July. More trims including Touring versions and M3 with quad motors coming in 2027.
