This is something that will continue to be a sad reality for as long as broader society holds to the notion that a disabled life is worse than death and the time and resources to care for the disabled are solely the responsibility of the parents.

@MinModulation I feel like there has been a broader movement to dehumanize men by portraying expressions of male sexuality as inherently predatory or objectifying. Ironically, this has resulted in the dehumanization of many women as well.
