I’m really hoping for associated loot chase. I’m nervous it’s just going to be difficulty levels without reward. So what I would like to see is an ascending loot chase. Like X amount of uniques or whatever at tier 1, Tier 2 has everything in tier 1 but adds these, tier 3 has everything from the previous tiers and adds these. Keep going all the way to 12 where there are super chase items that really make you put the time in to max out the build to chase. It’s going to be super disappointing if you can get the same stuff on tier 1 as tier 12 maybe just more of it. I really like Diablo but endgame has been a huge pain point for any non casual player. Most seasons are over within a week or so as there’s nothing left to do. Pit push has no rewards, I beat T-150 to find out you get the same junk as beating a much lower tier. The non casuals need a reason to stick around and so far we don’t have one, fingers crossed the expansion addresses that.

No, Diablo needs endgame and loot chase. The game is on the super easy side of ARPGs. It’s built for casual players who want to log in here and there and get everything in the game. As soon as something seems grindy or you need to put time in the casuals complain and Blizzard immediately makes this game even easier. If you want people to stick around there needs to be a reason. Diablo seasons are a week or less long for non casuals.
